The Space

Hefziba Bed & Breakfast is situated on the serene Ometepe Island in Rivas, Nicaragua. Our property is located just outside the town of Moyogalpa, approximately a 15 to 20-minute walk from the town center or a 5-minute mototaxi ride from the port.

We offer seven rooms for guests, and this listing is for Room 6. This family room includes:

• Two double beds, accommodating up to four guests (two people per bed)
• Private bathroom with a fresh water shower (note: no hot water)
• Air conditioning
• WiFi access (connection may be intermittent)
• Breakfast available for an additional fee
• Access to the pool

Please note that while WiFi is provided, the signal may not always be strong, so plan accordingly if you need to work during your stay.

Location

Hefziba Bed & Breakfast is located on the peaceful outskirts of Moyogalpa town on Ometepe Island. The property is easily accessible by foot or a short mototaxi ride from the port, making it convenient for travelers arriving on the island.

During Your Stay

Although I spend considerable time on Ometepe, this is not my permanent residence. The property belongs to my grandmother, who you might meet if she is not in Managua, the capital city. My cousin Memo lives here full-time and will be available to assist you during your visit, supported by our on-call translator.

Since my family on the island does not speak English, I help facilitate communication and reservations to ensure a smooth experience for our guests. Hosting is a true family effort, and we hope you recognize and appreciate the care we put into making you feel at home.
