Direct beachfront access, a 70-square-meter yoga deck, and seven air-conditioned bedrooms make this 7-bedroom villa ideal for groups of up to 14. Enjoy quiet Playa Langosta mornings and sunset shoreline views.
The Space
Rarely available, Nosara Villa offers a true beachfront stay in one of Nosara’s few genuine beach villas. With seven bedrooms and seven full bathrooms, it is well suited to retreats, family holidays, weddings, and group getaways.
The villa sits directly on the beach, with no jungle path between the property and the sand. At low tide, the rocky shelf in front of the house reveals tide pools that are easy to explore with a morning coffee.
Highlights
- Seven air-conditioned bedrooms
- Seven full bathrooms
- Direct beachfront access
- A 70-square-meter teak yoga deck
- Outdoor lounge with teak furniture, hammocks, and beanbag chairs
- 14-person dining table
- Space for yoga classes, group meals, and relaxed gatherings
- Morning views of the beach, ocean, and howler monkeys
The villa is designed for groups. Each bedroom has its own door, and no guests need to share a bathroom or sleep on a pull-out couch. The 14-person dining table serves as the gathering point for long dinners, card games, and time spent together outdoors.
The 70-square-meter yoga deck is the heart of the house and also functions as an open-air lounge. With ocean-facing teak furniture, hammocks, and beanbag chairs, it is spacious enough for a full class while remaining comfortable for smaller gatherings. Retreat leaders can use it as a private shala, while families will find plenty of room to relax and connect.
All seven bedrooms are air-conditioned and located directly on the sand. The master bedrooms open toward the morning light, with howler monkeys in the trees before the beach sees its first visitors.
Location
Nosara Villa is located at the southern end of Guiones, away from the area’s construction noise and surrounded by nature and tranquility. This quieter stretch of beach is often nearly empty, offering approximately a mile of shoreline with few people and unobstructed sunset views.
- Guiones’ main surf break is within walking distance
- Main Guiones, including the surf break, Bodhi Tree, cafés, and restaurants, is a five-minute drive
- Bars, restaurants, and shops are less than five minutes away by car
- Garza Beach and its restaurants are just around the corner
Guest Access
The entire house is exclusively yours during your stay.
From the main highway into Nosara, turn at the yellow Tica Massage sign and the local bus stop. Continue west toward the beach. Just before the rocks that close off the beach, turn left onto the main beachfront road. Continue past the fishing boats and across the bridge.
Nosara Villa is the last beachfront house on the road. After crossing the bridge, look for the palapa roof and teak yoga deck. Turn left there, and Harold, the caretaker, will be waiting to welcome you.
Additional Information
The villa is suitable for retreats, family vacations, weddings, and other events. An additional fee applies to weddings, events, or groups of more than 14 people. More than 14 guests may not use the property without prior approval, so please contact the host before booking.
This is a working beach with an active local community. Local fishermen pass by the house most days, which is part of the character of the area. Guests seeking an enclosed resort compound may prefer a different setting.
The villa is surrounded by jungle wildlife. You may see howler monkeys in the trees, iguanas on the walls, unfamiliar birds, and the occasional gecko indoors.

Extremely well crafted home in a stunning position overlooking the sea. The sun set directly opposite. Harold who lives at the back and caretakes is an absolute gem. We hired a quad and it’s about 5-7mins drive into Nosara. 3 mins in the opposite direction is a great little supermarket Blue Garza behind which is a lovely local restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Alex was very responsive and helpful in getting things set up for us. Harold the caretaker was very helpful as well. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning in each bedroom was cool and very comfortable. The main area is not air conditioned, which is normal for the area. The house is far enough from Nosara that a golf cart is very useful. Alex set us up with a fishing charter that was one of the best experiences I have had with with my family. The picture on the Airbnb site doesn’t show the dirt road in front of of the house. It is no big deal, in fact it was nice to have for the golf carts we rented. Surfing is best further down the beach towards Nosara. We tied the surf boards to the golf carts to get where we wanted. Alex introduced us to Thomas for the fishing, and Thomas recommended Tato for an in home authentic Costa Rican dinner. Using the fresh tuna we caught on our fishing trip, he made the most delicious Carpaccio we’ve ever had. 10/10.

We were a family of 12 consisting of grandparents, children and grandchildren. It has seven bedrooms and accommodated our group beautifully. Harold, who lives on the property was very helpful. We also had a local chef prepared dinner for us. We were recommended a fishing guide as well as horseback riding.

Alex's place is literally off the beaten path. Because of this you get to experience some amazing sunsets. You also get a mostly private small section of the beach all to yourself. The area makes for nice morning walks along the beach as well. Located in a calmer, quieter more laid back vibe of Costa Rica. My family of 6 were comfortable. Also, Harold, the groundskeeper is awesome. Truly a great help and addition to Alex's place.

The house, the view, Harold, the perfectly chilly and well appointed bedrooms were perfect. We absolutely loved our time here- it felt amazing to be a long walk away from the middle of town and it was a super easy golf cart ride back. Thank you for creating such a magical place. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Stayed with a group of friends and babies under 2. Perfect place for little ones to play on the deck and then enjoy the tidepools and the beach. Great boogie boarding steps from the house. Peaceful location. A little tricky to find but once you are there you won't want to leave. Communication was great and they were responsive when we had requests or questions!

We loved staying on the beach. The sunsets are epic and it is a beautiful part of guiones. We loved the palapa for rest and play time.

We read a review before booking that said, “This house is an experience.” After staying here, I understand exactly what that meant. This home gives your family a place to be together in a way that’s hard to put into words. At night we walked down to the tide pools under the moonlight. During the day we bought fish from the fishermen next door. After sunset, the caretaker would start a fire so we could walk back up to a warm glow waiting for us. These are moments you remember forever. With 7 beds and baths, everyone in our family had their own comfortable space, yet we were constantly drawn back together. The kitchen opens to an open-air patio with a table for 14, surrounded by hammocks, chairs, couches, bean bags - every possible place to sit, talk, laugh, and just be. The community of people behind this home are unforgettable. They truly embody and embrace the Pura Vida lifestyle - a blessing for us to have experienced. Something our family will never forget. Thank you!

I absolutely loved my stay at this house! The views were breathtaking, and the sunsets were among the most beautiful I've ever seen. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a fantastic feature, adding to the comfort of our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, making meal preparation easy. I also appreciated the accessibility of surfboards, yoga mats, and various chairs, which made lounging at the beach incredibly enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
