Very warm place! The beach is great and quiet! Everything was clean. The host is super nice. I rented a surf for very little money it was super easy! Great if you're looking for peace and quiet.

INCREDIBLE STAY. I would highly recommend staying here. PROS: literally a 2 minute walk from the beach. Community is great and it’s in a gated area. Felipe is so kind and helped us with anything we need. Breakfast is included. (A little Spanish knowledge will help you here with the staff. The two women cooking breakfast were less than friendly to us because of our lack of knowledge.) AC & hot showers. Surf board rentals and lessons offered. CONS: Very small space. As long as you pack light, you’ll be okay. My husband brought a huge bag and there was no storage space for it. The road to get here is bad. I would highly recommend a 4x4

This is a unique place with a very pleasant vibe. Having said that, make sure that you understand what you’re signing up for because the rooms are extremely tiny providing for close to no comfort. Furthermore, while the proximity to the beach is incredible, it is the Playa Grande which has little restaurant/shop infrastructure. Tamarindo beach is reachable by boat which, however, is not an experience that was comfortable for me.

We got in late and night and were worried about getting there easily but everything was easy to find inside and Felipe put our names on our piperooms so it was easy to get settled. 2 min walk to the beach!!!! Perfect place to stay.

Loved staying at the pipe house. The space was exactly as pictured, the people were amazing, el desayuno = riquísimo, perfect beach, the list goes on. 10/10 recommend. Felipe is very helpful, accommodating, and super chill. Thanks for being awesome!! Pura vida 🤙🏽

The Pipe House was an unforgettable experience. The location was easy to access and felt very secure with the gate that the Host provides an access code for. The grounds of the Pipe House "hotel" were very clean and picturesqe with hammocks, lounge area, kitchen, and gym. The pipe "rooms" themselves were very clean and tidy but a bit smaller than my girlfriend and I imagined - only enough room for 2 average sized persons with a small bag each (our carry on luggage didn't fit). They were equipped with an AC unit to keep you cool as you slept. It would have been the perfect stay, however, a brutal wind caused a power outage the day we stayed there and sleeping in a small concrete tube with no AC was quite difficult. Not fault on the management but if you expect storms during your time in Costa Rica or when you stay at this location, it's something you should keep in mind when choosing this location

Awesome stay right in the National park beach! Great place for beginner surfers. Free foam surfboards!! Be mindful of the turtles at night. Other than breakfast, no food, bottled water or drinks. Bring your own if you want. Full kitchen available. Ok to drink the water. Fun spot to meet and hang with fellow travelers! Short drive to a few good restaurants.

Felipe’s place is a gem! Steps from the beach, great vibes and he was so helpful when I needed anything. The room has perfect space and is comfortable with duffle bag storage underneath the bed. After a long day at the beach- the bed is so cozy and cool at night, not to mention very clean showers & toilets. I wish I stayed more nights but will be back again. The layout is so cool and I met some awesome people while staying there sharing meals together.
