The Space

Rancho Alegre is a spacious private retreat with six bedrooms, designed for families and groups to vacation together comfortably. Separate bedroom wings offer exceptional privacy, while expansive living areas, a large swimming pool, an outdoor bar, a barbecue area, and an oversized kitchen create inviting spaces for everyone to gather.

High ceilings, beautiful timber finishes, and open hacienda-style architecture make the home even more impressive in person. Shaded terraces overlook the pool and surrounding greenery, while private balconies with hammocks, a rooftop terrace, and peaceful forest views provide quiet places to relax.

The layout is well suited to extended families, couples traveling together, and multigenerational groups. Bedrooms are distributed across separate areas of the home, allowing guests to retreat to their own suite or balcony without hearing activity elsewhere in the house.

At the center of the home is a large, fully equipped kitchen with generous preparation and serving space. It is ideal for entertaining, shared family meals, or evenings with a private chef. The kitchen flows naturally into the spacious living areas and shaded outdoor terraces.

Rancho Alegre accommodates up to 18 guests across six bedrooms:

• Primary Suite: King bed and private en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 2: King bed and private en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 3: Two bunk beds, each with a king bed below and a queen bed above, plus a private en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 4: King bed and private en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 5: King bed and private en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 6: Sofa bed and private en-suite bathroom

Each bedroom includes individual air conditioning, blackout blinds, and access to a private or adjoining outdoor space. Several suites feature private balconies with hammocks, ideal for a quiet afternoon siesta.

Daily Housekeeping and Concierge Service

Daily housekeeping is included, allowing guests to enjoy the home without worrying about everyday cleaning. The housekeeping team will coordinate a schedule that works comfortably for your group.

Design

Rancho Alegre was designed as an open-plan indoor-outdoor living space where large families can enjoy the tropical climate as well as cool, air-conditioned areas. Extended shaded terraces are positioned beside the living areas throughout the home.

Every room has individual cooling through personal split air-conditioning units, and all bedrooms feature double-lined blackout blinds.

Guests can retreat to a private hammock deck for an afternoon siesta, watch a game at the poolside bar, or enjoy cocktails in the pool.

Location

Rancho Alegre is situated on the second hole of the exclusive Hacienda Pinilla golf course, surrounded by nature and privacy. Howler monkeys, roaming deer, and flying macaws can often be seen from the poolside lounge.

The beach club at Playa Avellanas, known for its white sand, is a short golf cart ride from the gated community.

The home also has a MistAway mosquito-misting system. It is programmed to automatically release a fine mist of mild botanical insecticide through nozzles installed around the property. Two or three brief applications per day help reduce mosquitoes and other bothersome insects in the yard.
