The Space
Amalfi is located 1.5 hours from Bogotá and offers a peaceful retreat for families and groups seeking beautiful views, time in nature, and the comfort of La Dolce Vita. The house includes all essential amenities and high-speed Wi-Fi, making it suitable for both relaxation and remote work.
The property is not located in town. It sits in a private natural setting approximately 15 minutes from Guasca or Guatavita.
Amalfi includes three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom:
- One master bedroom with a king-size bed
- Two bedrooms with a double bed, each with an optional trundle bed
- One double sofa bed in the television room
Guests can enjoy a private jacuzzi and a dedicated firepit area for outdoor evenings.
The property also features internal walking trails. Guests may encounter Natacho, the free-roaming horse, offering a memorable way to experience the natural surroundings of La Dolce Vita.
Guest Access
Guests have access to all areas of the house they have rented, along with the shared common areas of La Dolce Vita, including:
- Walking trails
- Gardens
- Outdoor spaces
To respect the privacy of other visitors, access to the property's other accommodations is not permitted.
Additional Information
- Nightly rates vary according to the number of guests. The base rate covers one to two guests. Please enter the actual number of guests to receive the correct total price and avoid issues at check-in.
- For groups exceeding Airbnb's capacity of 16 guests, the additional guest fee is COP 280,000 per person per night. For groups larger than 16 guests, an additional services request will be sent to adjust the reservation.
- Bedrooms are opened according to the number of guests. The house remains entirely private for your group, and no spaces are shared.
- If additional visitors join your group for one or more nights, you must notify us in advance and pay the applicable additional guest fee.
- Higher-clearance vehicles or SUVs are recommended. Access includes approximately 15 minutes of unpaved road, which may deteriorate during rainy periods.
- The property is not located in town and is approximately 15 minutes from Guasca or Guatavita.
- The on-site team is available throughout your stay and can provide housekeeping and cooking support according to your group's needs, within reasonable working hours.
- Staff can assist with preparing the jacuzzi, lighting the firepit when permitted, and handling additional requests.
- Meal service may be available upon request. Please ask the host about the available options, and the team will prepare the requested meals.
- Campfire availability depends on weather conditions and regulations issued by the Ministry of Environment. As of August 15, 2026, campfires are prohibited, and no information is available regarding when they may be permitted again.

Casa Amalfi was a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by an amazing natural landscape that overlooks the town and lake of Guatavita. The place itself was everything we hoped for and more. My family and I enjoyed every second spent there, while relaxing and recharging far from the noise of the city life. We appreciate the tranquility and privacy the place offered, as well as all the amenities that made us wish we could’ve stayed even longer. Luisa and the entire crew at La dolce vita were always very responsive and ready to assist us with any request we had. Big thanks to Sandra and co. for the amazing service. I found this gem of a place after needing a quick 2 day getaway out of Bogotá with my family! Everything was wonderful. The design of the house allows for panoramic views. Whether you're doing the dishes, eating a meal, lounging in the living room, relaxing in bed or taking a shower, there is always an invitation to gaze outside at the mountains, hills and lake. What made the place even more magical were the free roaming animals that came to say hello — a horse, two dogs and even a shy kitten. Other highlights: Luisa and her on-site staff were so friendly and responsive. The place was child friendly and provided a travel crib, high chair and baby bath. The trail on-site was a great little escape w/ the little one. The jacuzzi was easy to use and got to a perfect hot temperature for soaking. The property was unique in having a variety of food options and everything we had was delicious. At night, you can see the town of Guatavita sparkle across the lake. We will be back!
