About Serafina Villa
Serafina Villa is a French-style mansion in Costa Rica’s Central Valley. The property has been renovated while preserving the home’s original character and history. It was the first property in an area that was once surrounded only by coffee plantations.
Today, the villa offers a comfortable and luxurious setting for families to enjoy together, with spectacular views of the golf course, mountains, and native Costa Rican vegetation.
The Space
The property spans 5,000 square meters, including its gardens, and features six rooms accommodating up to 18 guests.
Shared areas include:
- A large kitchen
- A gazebo
- A swimming pool
- A bar with a pool table
These common areas are shared with guests staying in the other unit on the property, La Casita de Villa Serafina.
The villa is well suited to families with teenagers, offering several separate spaces for relaxation and entertainment. The setting is peaceful and secure while remaining close to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping centers, and the airport, which is 10 minutes away.
Balconies and the terrace overlook the golf course, providing a relaxing place to enjoy the scenery. Guests may also use the swimming pool and billiards area.
Guest Access
The reservation includes all six rooms in the mansion. Some areas are reserved exclusively for guests, while other spaces are shared with guests staying in the separate unit outside the main house.
Our guard and maintenance staff are available to check guests in and provide a tour of the property. They remain on-site to coordinate maintenance and ensure the house is kept in good condition. Their rooms are located inside the house but are generally separate from guest areas unless assistance is requested.

All rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a television.

- Master Suite: Queen-size bed, bathroom with jacuzzi, and balcony

House Rules
- The property is exclusively for lodging and accommodation. All other uses are prohibited.
- Gatherings of more than 18 people are not permitted.
- If the maximum capacity is exceeded, an additional charge of $18 USD per person will apply. This fee covers daytime access and use of the property only and does not include overnight accommodation.

this is a very nice place for large groups and lots of kids, they will love it. it does need some upkeep, and the place needs open windows before guest arrive. depending on the person who keeps up the place is not so practical but it works. the pool is great, and beds are comfy. internet works, but house has many dead areas. overall good place but has some issues.

The area was nice and safe. The house appears nicer in pictures. It needs updating for the price. The outdoor landscape and fountains were run down. The living room furniture is threadbare, the dining room table was 2 folding tables, and the decor does not “represent” the mansion they are showing. The beds were comfortable and cozy. It was nice to have a groundskeeper (he was amazing) but it would have been easier to let ourselves in and out of the gate instead of waiting for someone. The coffee pot was broke and we received a new one immediately.

A beautiful place. The house offers the best amenities. The pool table room became the room where we spent the most time together. The pool is impeccable. The terrace overlooking the golf course is beautiful for breakfast or coffee in the afternoons. Don Leo takes care of the property at all times, so the security of the The house offers tremendous tranquility. I could say it's the best Airbnb place I've ever stayed at. Right now it's my top 1

The house/Villa is huge with lot of bed rooms and can accommodate lot of people.The main problem is that it is dated which is not seen in the images.. Lot of items need work, dish water was not working...No AC in main living room, kitchen, dining room which is a problem because that means getting together other than not sleeping is uncomfortable...There is a security guard on site 24/7 which is very good.. Overall we did enjoy the place and it is spacious..just that it is dated..... Ibwould give 4.5 if there is an option..I only saw 4

We had a good time. We thought the pool was going to be very cold, but it was actually perfect. We really enjoyed the pool very much, just as we wanted. It completely met our expectations for the stay!

The house was very lovely and spacious—perfectly suited for a group like ours. However, the master bathroom had issues with leaks; specifically, the fixtures were a bit tricky to shut off, resulting in water leakage. I think they need to be a bit more careful in this regard, as the plumbing appears to be in need of maintenance.
