Casa la Caucana is an ideal base for exploring Cauca Viejo and a comfortable place to relax and spend time with family.
The property is located next to the Cauca River, approximately two hours from Medellín and 45 minutes from Jericó, Antioquia. The area has a warm climate, with an average temperature of 26°C.
Guests can enjoy beautiful landscapes and the atmosphere of an Antioquian colonial village, along with the amenities of a gated community surrounded by nature, including drinking water, sports courts, green areas, and more.
The Space
The house is located within the Cauca Viejo subdivision. All guests must follow the community’s rules regarding coexistence, respect, and order. Failure to comply may result in penalties or fines of approximately $1,000,000, payable by the guest to the property management.
The house accommodates up to 12 guests, with capacity for one additional guest:
- Additional guests must be included in the total guest count.
- Each additional guest costs $120,000 per night, paid through the app.

Included Assistance
Claudia provides cleaning and cooking assistance from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Her service is mandatory for groups of up to 12 people and costs $90,000 per day. This fee is not included in the booking price.
If there are more than 12 guests, an additional person must be hired to assist, with payment arranged separately.
House Rules
- Pets and companion animals are not permitted.
- Extreme parties are not allowed.
- Music must be kept at a moderate volume at all times.
- Music is permitted only until midnight, as Cauca Viejo is a place for rest, recreation, and enjoying nature.
- Failure to follow the community’s rules may result in penalties of approximately $700,000, imposed by the subdivision’s management.
Guest Access
Guests have access to all areas of Casa la Caucana, including the bedrooms, common areas, and private swimming pool.
If availability permits and arrangements are made in advance, check-in and check-out times may be modified with approval from both the guest and the host.
Parking
The parking area is located very close to the house.
The property management company charges an entrance fee of $30,000 per vehicle. Payment must be made using a QR code at the entrance gate; cash is not accepted. This fee is charged by the subdivision and is not related to the house.

The house is spectacular, with all the comforts to feel at home and to disconnect and have a great rest with family. Marcela, the host, is extremely attentive and very kind, super focused on making your stay perfect. Finally, Claudia's support in the house is wonderful, and she also cooks delicious food!! Our experience was wonderful from start to finish. First of all, I want to highlight Marcela, who was an excellent host. From the very first minute, she was very attentive to everything we might need before and during our arrival, always ready to help and attentive to every detail, which made us feel very welcome. We also want to thank Claudia, the lady who helped us in the house. She is a wonderful person, very friendly and helpful. He helped us with everything we needed and, in addition, the food he prepares is simply delicious. Their service made our stay even more special. As for the house, it's spectacular. Our stay at La Caucana was simply spectacular. Everything was impeccable: very clean, organized and with attention to every detail. We would especially like to highlight the attention of Ms. Claudia, who took wonderful care of us. Her kindness, helpfulness and, of course, her delicious cooking made our experience even more special. The host was also always attentive and willing to help us with everything we needed, providing us with excellent support throughout our stay. I had a wonderful experience in Cauca Viejo. The place I stayed at was simply spectacular: very nice, clean, and cozy. You can see the care in every detail. I would also like to highlight the kindness of the owners and the ladies who helped us with the housework; they were always attentive, with a very helpful and warm attitude, which made our stay even more special. The house is just as described and shown in the photos; a very well-organized, clean, and fully equipped house with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Communication with Marcela was more than effective; she was always available to answer any questions or requests. As for Claudia (the person who helped us with the kitchen and tidying up), her service is 1000/10 – she is very helpful, clean, and a sweetheart who makes you feel like you are in the best restaurant. Highly recommended.
