We had a great time at Sebastian’s place!! It truly is beautiful!! If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful oasis this is it!! He hosted myself and 8 other girls for a bachelorette trip and he was very responsive with helping us with recommendations for activities, bars, restaurants, and transportation! Him and his family also cooked dinner for us a couple of nights and it was nothing but amazing!! Very recommended!

What an incredible stay!! Sebastian was above and beyond as an Airbnb host, in fact the best experience I’ve had to date. Staying at the treehouse was a truly transformative experience— everything from his magical jungle, to the wildlife (monkeys!!!), to the incredibly nourishing, delicious, and inspired food he made us for breakfast and dinner. We were a group of 7 women, all with different preferences (GF, vegetarian, etc.) and he made it all feel seamless. He and his family had a warm hospitality that felt effortless. His unique perspective and focus on local food meant consistently amazing breakfast and dinner experiences. He is intimately aware of the flavours of his region and we were surprised and delighted with every single meal! Staying in the treehouse was also a delight- it was private and yet open to the outdoors at the same time. This was the perfect spot to let the normal rhythm of things disappear and to simply just be together. We will never forget it.

Such a beautiful place! Not much more to add than what's mentioned in other reviews, everything is as it appears, if not better. The rooms are very nice, comfortable beds, big bathrooms, good communal space. Don't expect a luxury beach resort in Playa del Carmen, this is for travelers looking for something else - peaceful, tranquil, remote and (mostly) quiet. Each room has one Queen bed, bottom two rooms have a convertible couch, upstairs rooms have a loft with a Queen mattress on the ground. All 8 beds were reported to be comfortable for 4 nights. We only had time for one breakfast which was well worth it, Sebastian and family prepared an excellent local, homemade meal. The location is a bit tricky to find, especially for cabs, and they close gates at night so there really is just one way to get there from the main road (Sebastian shared a video which was helpful). The a/c is only available 8 pm to 8 am so plan your day around that. Even in early March it gets pretty warm.

The property was amazing, and Sebastian and his family are wonderful hosts! Their cooking is spectacular, using locally sourced ingredients, and they accommodated our group's multiple dietary restrictions!

Such a cool spot!! We loved the place, the feel or the jungle, etc. My recommendation is to have a cab driver’s number and arrange transportation ahead of time. Luckily one of our friends is an Akumal local so we didn’t have a hard time, but cabs can be a little scarce coming here. Overall though it was so amazing, will definitely be back.

Sebastian and Fernanda are beyond gracious hosts! Describes as a favorite vacation of all time, Sebastian’s a major part of that reflection. 1) THE FOOD! Creative, conscientious & exceptional!. I agree the breakfast is delish, but the genius of the dinners is nothing we have experienced before. The day we went fishing, I told Sebastian what was caught and he made four ceviches and another cooked fish dish with the day’s catch. Growing much food and/or locally sourcing ingredients. 2)Tour guide connections - A) Tulum ruins & a private cenote, B)zip lines, ATV rental and two more cenotes + C) day at a quiet beach. 3) The structure- four bedrooms with full bathrooms en suite. Two bedrooms on ground level & 2 rooms above. There is a kitchen between the two upstairs bedrooms 4) Jungle locations - NOT in a crowded area or on the beach 5)proximity to XSenses, there is some park noise at night. We preferred being in the outlying area to avoid the festivities of Playa del Carmen’s 5th Ave

From before booking, until our goodbyes, Sebastien and his family provided us the most memorable experience and unique accommodations that were second to none. More impressive and beautiful than the pictures portrayed. Our late evening arrival was smooth as we were welcomed by Sebastien and his family with warmth, flexibility and a beautiful 6-course meal that we organized in advance. It was a food journey, where an every dish was accompanied by wonderful origin stories of ingredients and its preparation. It was an exceptional experience and the love in its preparation was obvious. The accommodations are unique and each morning we enjoyed coffee and the peaceful sounds and privacy of the jungle around us with monkeys! We also enjoyed the surrounding nature in nearby areas as a result of Sebastien's wealth of knowledge and personal love of the region. He provided us with great recommendations and touring. We felt very fortunate to have found such an oasis and wonderful hosts! 11/10!
