The Space
Villa Il Velo offers an exceptional blend of comfort and luxury in San Juan del Sur. This spacious three-story villa covers 20,000 square feet and provides breathtaking ocean and bay views from every room. The villa features top-quality furnishings and beautifully designed living areas, making it a perfect retreat for a relaxing vacation.
The villa includes four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, plus a service room with its own bathroom. Every bedroom is equipped with individual air conditioning to ensure your comfort. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property, cable TV, Apple TV, and Amazon Firestick.
Guests will enjoy a warm and personalized welcome upon arrival, with around-the-clock security and housekeeping services. Poolside waiter and cook services are available upon request, offering restaurant-style meals and drinks.
Children can enjoy movies in the TV room or play board games provided by the host. During the day, relax by the infinity pool or unwind in the hammock, both offering stunning views of San Juan del Sur bay.

There are five main rooms, including the TV room, distributed across three floors:
- Bedroom 1: King-sized bed, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, Apple TV, closet, balcony with mountain and ocean views, ensuite bathroom with double sinks.
- Bedroom 2: Two twin beds, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, closet, ensuite bathroom.
- Bedroom 3: Two bunk beds (four beds total), high-speed Wi-Fi, closet, spacious balcony with lounge chairs overlooking the ocean, ensuite bathroom.
- Bedroom 4: Queen bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, closet, spacious balcony, ensuite bathroom.
- TV Room: Two large sofas, two ottomans, coffee table, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, Amazon Firestick.
There is also a half bathroom located on the middle floor. All bathrooms provide hot water for comfortable showers.

The villa’s outdoor area features a beautiful infinity pool with a 180-degree view of San Juan del Sur bay. Sun loungers are available for sunbathing, and a traditional Nicaraguan hammock offers a perfect spot to relax with a book, especially at sunset.

We truly enjoyed our time at Mario’s home. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The views were breathtaking, the home was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful.

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. The house was clean and absolutely STUNNING. The views were amazing. Also, we felt very safe at the house and Humberto was always watching over the house. I will say that the walk back from town is very much uphill, which can be difficult, but for my group, we didn’t have any problems.

This is one of the best houses I have ever been. The panoramic view with the high ceiling living room was just awesome. I would love to be back. Rebecca was also super nice and helpful and prepare an incredible breakfast!

My friends and I LOVED the villa, and hope to come back someday. The views, yard, and home layout cannot be topped. It’s the perfect spot to host a group trip. The hosts were responsive, kind, and helpful with our stay. Humberto (security guard) and Rebecca (cleaner) were wonderful as well! Overall an amazing experience. A few minor things to note: 1) guests are expected to replenish basic necessities such as toilet paper and hand-soap (of course not a deal breaker for the house, just would have been helpful to know upfront). 2) the wifi was enough to support basic internet usage but was not strong enough to support video calls without frequent drops.

An incredible place to spend time with friends and family, easy to get to, close to the village, it lends all the conditions inside the house with all amenities, super equipped, a house with well-distributed spaces, a swimming pool with a spectacular view!!!!, the hosts are very friendly and the partners in the house too, it is a 10/10 :)
