Villa Emerald

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at La Perla del Caribe! This was our first time to Ambergris Caye Island. The place provided so much room and a beautiful view! Our kids enjoyed the pool and all of the excursions available. Our contact, Star, was so helpful! She booked our transportation, golf cart, and excursions! Thank you so much!! I give the Airbnb 5 stars! Our favorite restaurants include the Sundeck (right down the road), Elvie’s Kitchen, Coconut Cafe, and Blue Bayou! We booked private fishing and snorkeling tours with Roberto’s group! One thing we were unaware of was the sargassum seaweed and the odor it can emit while breaking down. This is no one’s fault on the island but something to be prepared for during your stay. Also, be prepared for a bumpy but comical ride getting around!

Great spot right on the water. The sargassum is annoying, but it doesn’t change how great the location was. The in-villa chef was amazing.

we had a blast and the view was beautiful. there are so many places close by to eat. Make sure you ask the resort to connect you with Roberto if you want to do any excursions, he was fantastic and well connected in the area. This is your one stop shop for Belize.

Jennifer’s house is a slice of heaven! Fully cooks supplied kitchen. Pool is wonderful. Staff really looked after me. Scuba lessons with Roberto were great and Star at the front desk was great. The pot holes road leading to the facility takes a long time to drive on, so going into San Pedro town was not an option unless we took a boat there. So shopping and adventuring around town was not an option. We enjoyed dining at Matachica and ordered in the from SunDeck once. We did also use provisioning services which was wonderful.

Stunning home right on the water. Quiet and serene, away from town. Had everything we needed and the staff was amazing in answering any questions and making sure our stay was going well. All the restaurants around were fantastic and they had plenty of activities. Would highly recommend having a meal from Chef Maria at your villa

Great stay!

We recently stayed at La Perla, a small vacation resort, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We stayed in Villa Emerald, which was both beautiful and peaceful—an ideal place to relax and unwind. The space was thoughtfully designed and felt like a private little sanctuary. What truly made our stay exceptional was the guest services manager, Star. She was absolutely amazing—sweet, attentive, and genuinely caring. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and went out of her way to ensure our experience was perfect. Her kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression. La Perla is a hidden gem, and thanks to people like Star, we can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at La Perla. The condo was comfortable and perfect for our family. We felt like we had a private beach and enjoyed so much time lounging on the comfortable deck furniture with endless views. We loved swimming out front and were amazed at how much sea life there was right there. Our son fished for hours off the private dock. The staff was so friendly and helpful and made our stay comfortable. They helped with booking a massage, our island hopper flight, golf cart and the in home chef. The tour company they recommended was great as well. We loved our time at La Perla and can’t wait to go back!
