The Space
The Rock House is a modern two-story residence offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Nestled on a 3-acre hillside surrounded by jungle, it provides a private and peaceful setting for a tropical retreat. The home features a seamless indoor/outdoor design and is located just steps from the infinity pool.
On the first floor, you will find a spacious kitchen, dining area, living room, and bathroom. Upstairs, there are two master suites, each with a private bathroom and balcony.
Originally built as a summer home for the family, The Rock House is now available for guests when not in use by the owners. Drawing on experience as former boutique hotel owners in the area, the home was thoughtfully designed to offer a comfortable "beach house" atmosphere while exploring all that Santa Teresa has to offer.
For guest comfort, each bedroom includes its own air conditioning unit with adjustable temperature settings. The downstairs area embraces the tropical environment with large sliding glass doors and screens on three sides, allowing sea breezes and views to be enjoyed during the day while maintaining security at night.
Location
The property is less than five minutes from the beach and surf, yet it remains secluded enough to provide a tranquil escape away from the busy town center.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire house and the private pool area.
Additional Information
- A 4x4 vehicle or ATV is necessary for the short drive up the hill to the house.
- A proactive pest control program is in place; however, due to the jungle environment, complete prevention cannot be guaranteed.

The Rockhouse exceeded all our expectations: the location is unbeatable, with views of the Pacific and the beach, yet completely quiet and without direct neighbors. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped. On our arrival, everything was very, very clean. The road to the house is a bit challenging, but it can be easily managed with a four-wheel drive car. In a few minutes you can reach supermarkets, restaurants and all the beaches in the area. We really enjoyed the week and can recommend the house to anyone who wants to relax!

Wow! If you're thinking about booking The Rock House, do it! It's incredible. The house is extremely comfortable with lovely big, comfy beds, large bathrooms, beautiful minimalist style but extremely well-equipped and a kitchen that is great for cooking in. The position is just stunning - the view of the coast from the pool is so picturesque and there are lovely trees all around the house so it feels completely private. The stars at night from here are incredible, too. It's one of the nicest nights places we've ever stayed. Mikey was also incredibly gracious about booking a fantastic first surf-lesson for our kids. We really hope to be back here one day.

The villa is simply splendid. The view upon arrival is stunning! The villa is beautiful and well equipped, and the windows on the ground floor and in the bedrooms allow you to see the ocean everywhere and at all times. We can see the surfers from the villa, we had the visit of several groups of monkeys, we saw iguanas, and the caretaker's adorable dog (who is also super nice!) spent all his time with us, to the great delight of our children. It was a really great vacation, and the hosts were super nice and responsive. We can't wait to come back! Thank you, Jessica and Mickey!

We loved our stay at Rock House. The infinity pool and the view of the waves/surfers are breathtaking. The only downside was the water pressure in the showers, especially in the bedrooms. However, the outdoor shower balanced it all out. I also advise you to rent a 4x4 or an ATV with comprehensive insurance to get there, because the dirt roads are not suitable for other vehicles and can cause some damage if the driver is not careful. However, the location is worth it. Thanks again!

Incredible house! We loved it and it was perfectly equipped for our needs. The views were breathtaking. The photos of the house and the description were spot on but even better in person. You definitely need the 4WD but it was worth it! Highly recommend this home! Hosts were responsive and nice to have caretaker close in case we needed anything

Absolutely incredible accommodation in a very nice environment where you really felt a taste of wild nature with monkeys, iguanas, coatis (?) in an incredibly nice environment. The way there was well described by our host, and it was still easy to find even though the GPS couldn't find the way. Will come back. A completely magical place!

BEAUTIFUL views! Felt like we were in jungle paradise. So peaceful and stunning view from every angle. ⛔️Caution:⛔️ you MUST have a 4x4 or rent an ATV to get to the Airbnb! Steeps gravel roads with some potholes so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Arriving during day light also highly recommend. Other than that we loved our stay! Just a stunning clean and peaceful place. Highly recommend and will be back. Host was also very helpful & friendly and the property - again BEAUTIFUL 😍
