Playa Grande is currently experiencing a development boom, which means there is some construction activity in the surrounding areas. Fortunately, there is no construction immediately adjacent to the property. The house is well insulated to minimize noise, and outdoor spaces have been tested to ensure a peaceful environment.
Prices have been adjusted to reflect any potential disturbances, though noise is not constant.

This property was amazing! It was very clean and functional for our entire family. We cooked several times and found the kitchen seamless to use. The close proximity to the beach made for a nice walk every day, and passing restaurants with cold drinks and food helped on some of those hotter/ longer ones. We loved all the wildlife around the house every day—it really felt like we were in the jungle. Shawna was very prompt and helpful with any and all needs. We especially liked the detached room in the back with its own bath; it gave my mom a little privacy of her own. We locked our surfboards in the laundry room every night and appreciated the security. The patio became our go-to spot for hanging out, eating, and playing games. The layout was clearly well thought out when the house was built. We’ll definitely be back ASAP!

Such a beautiful and comfortable home, short walk to the beach. Clean, plenty of space to spread out. Pool was perfect, only wish we’d had a few more days!! Shawna was a great host and accommodated our request for late check out which was very much appreciated. Can’t wait to go back!!

Casa Colorado was perfect for our group: 2 families with 4 teenagers. Excellent location. Loved the daily visits of the Howler monkeys in the neighbouring trees. Shawna was responsive and helpful. She was able to easily arrange many rides for us to Tamarindo, grocery store and airport. Plus provide information on excursions. Would highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our group of friends. We all felt right at home from the beginning. Very well located in the heart of town and a very short walk distance to the beach. We can’t wait to come back soon.

The house was great for our group and we loved our stay there. It was modern, clean and a great outdoor space. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a short walk to the beach. Shawna was very responsive.

Beautiful home in a quiet area. We enjoyed our time at Casa Colorado. The host, Shawna was friendly and always responded quickly. If you’re considering the chef option, we highly recommend MC’s Golden Fork, she’s amazing!
