Firstly, Tracy was a phenomenal host. She was super responsive, had contacts for taxi drivers, and was always quick to help whenever we had questions! The space itself was gorgeous. There was plenty of beautiful wildlife in the area, the property was private, peaceful, and overall a great experience to have.

We loved our stay at the glass house! The house is so beautiful and was clean upon arrival. Unfortunately it was too cloudy to see the volcano during our stay but we saw many birds, frogs, and loved interacting with the neighborhood dogs and cats. Location is also very convenient to La Fortuna.

Who would think I would say a glass house is a private, but it was a very private house in a great location away from the touristy part of La Fortuna, yet close enough to a lot of activities. The birds, sounds and view were amazing as was the porch for enjoying my morning coffee!

Tracy’s home was great, exactly how it was described. We were sad that we didn’t spend more time at the actual house during our stay. It was cloudy during our stay, so we didn’t get to see the volcano, but it was still a beautiful view into nature. We were visited daily by a sweet neighborhood dog which was nice. Tracy was a super responsive host. Only negative I have to say about the house was that the door was dragging on the floor making a loud noise when closing or opening the door. Overall, a really great stay and would recommend to anyone else.

The glasshouse is architecturally beautifully designed with two big bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. It is c3km from La Fortuna centre, so you need a car (we had one) as there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance Unfortunately we had rain for 2 days and didn’t get the lovely views. Overall a comfortable and nice place to stay if you have a car

Very disappointing stay!!!!!!!!!! The house is at the end of a long, rocky road and many Uber drivers refused to come down it, which was especially hard for our elderly family members. The front door was extremely heavy and difficult to open and close, which felt unsafe. Cleanliness was a MAJOR issue. A family member had a BAD skin reaction after using the bed linens and there was a strong sewage odor coming from the bathrooms that spread through the house. The smell was so bad that one family member became sick. Each guest received only 1 towel for a 4 day stay. The lighting in the home was also very dim. We contacted the host and Airbnb support. The host said housekeeping would come but no one ever showed up. Communication stopped and Airbnb later reviewed our evidence and sided with us. We did our best to make the most of our trip but the condition of the property had a significant negative impact on our experience. I hope these issues are addressed for the sake of future guests!!
