Diria Matapalo 402 is a luxurious ocean-view condominium in the heart of Tamarindo. The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom residence sleeps up to four guests and offers access to the expansive lagoon pool, swim-up bar, and private beach through the landmark Diria hotel across the street.

The property is located in Tamarindo’s vibrant town center, just steps from the sand and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, activities, and nightlife.

Location and Activities

Enjoy Tamarindo’s beaches, restaurants, shops, activities, and nightlife from this convenient central location. The condominium is also an excellent base for exploring Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, with popular beaches such as Flamingo, Playa Grande, Conchal, and Avellanas all within 30 minutes.

Family Amenities

A pack-and-play is available on a first-come, first-served basis for $10 per night. Please request it in advance so it can be reserved and set up before your arrival.

Recommendations and Referrals

Referrals and contact information are available for:

• Chef services; a minimum of seven days’ notice is required, although last-minute requests will be accommodated whenever possible
• Airport shuttles
• Fishing tours
• Surfing lessons
• Decorating with balloons or flowers
• Adventure hotel tours, including Hacienda Guachipelin near Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and its hot springs

We are happy to provide referrals and booking information, but guests must arrange these services themselves.

Important Details

• Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
• The property has a zero-tolerance policy for parties and loud noise.
• Complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, alerts from the noise-monitoring software, or other evidence of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. may result in fines of up to $1,000, possible eviction, and legal action if authorities are involved.
• The homeowners’ association and security team require additional guest information, including names, identification numbers, and/or identification photos.
• Costa Rica residents booking with a local credit card will be charged value-added tax by their bank in addition to the Airbnb tax. This separate local fee is processed automatically by the bank outside of Airbnb.
