Important Service Notice

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, certain services and amenities may be unavailable or nonfunctional. These may include elevators, food and beverage service, electricity, internet, gym, steam room, pools, jacuzzis, gas, fans, air conditioning, and staff services.

Possible causes include power outages, provider inefficiency, malfunctions, repairs, damage caused by previous guests, staff strikes or illness, changes in administration, theft of personal items, or loud noise. These events are rare. If they occur, the owner will make every reasonable effort to restore services but will not be responsible for inconveniences or reimbursements.

Guest Access

All guests must be individually registered at check-in to access the property. Please provide the full names of every guest before arrival.

• Visitors must be accompanied by a registered guest at all times while on the property.
• The beach gate is available, but all check-ins must take place through the front entrance at Calle Santa Barbara 466.
• Registered guests have access to two oceanfront pools and spas.
• One rooftop pool and spa is available.
• The restaurant is open from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offers room service.
• The rooftop bar is open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Gym, steam room, and massage room access is included.

Guest Interaction

Guests have full access to the building’s amenities, including the restaurant, bar, gym, massage room, sauna, and room service.

Food and Beverage

The homeowners’ association covers labor costs, allowing the property to offer affordable food and drink prices.

Sayan Beach Bar and Restaurant

Sayan Beach provides bar and restaurant service on both the ground floor and rooftop. Cash is not accepted for food or beverage purchases.

When you reserve, choose one of the following payment methods:

1. Pay by credit card at the end of your stay. Credit card terminal fees apply.
2. Deposit $100 per day for the entire stay through the Airbnb application. Partial days are not accepted. At check-out, the balance will either be paid or reimbursed.

If a group wishes to track individual expenses, keep the green paper receipts so each guest’s share can be calculated.

Menu prices are subject to 16% tax and card-processing fees. Cash is not accepted for restaurant bills; only tips may be paid in cash.

For every food or bar purchase, clearly print your name, unit number 9F, the date, and signature. Keep all receipts and total them for payment at the end of your stay.

Puerto Vallarta Airport

After collecting your luggage at the airport, exit through the arrivals area. The exit corridor includes timeshare vendors.

Travel time by taxi is approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic. The ocean may not be visible until the final part of the journey. Tips are expected and appreciated.

Airport Taxis

If you need an airport taxi:

1. Purchase a ticket at the airport taxi booth.
2. Fares are based on zones; Sayan Beach is in Zone 2.
3. Tell the attendant you are going to Calle Santa Barbara 466 and show the map.
4. Keep your receipt.
5. The driver will provide the other receipt copy to the clerk as you leave the airport.

Keeping your receipt helps protect you from being overcharged.

Check-In

This is a self-check-in property. Airbnb will send the main entrance access code and additional instructions on the day of arrival, at the scheduled check-in time.

• Standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m.
• Earlier check-in may be arranged on a case-by-case basis, depending on the previous guests’ departure.
• Guests should plan to arrive at Unit 9F by 9:00 p.m.
• Arrivals after 9:00 p.m. incur a $25 cash fee.
• Arrivals before 8:00 a.m. also incur a $25 cash fee.

These fees may apply because of flight delays, traffic, or other circumstances and are subject to prior check-outs and check-ins.

Check-Out

Standard check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Early departure is permitted, but guests must vacate Unit 9F by 11:00 a.m.

Before leaving:

• Pay all bar and restaurant charges.
• Visit the ground-floor restaurant between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to settle the bill.
• Depending on your travel plans, you may pay the bill the night before departure.
• Washing dishes or bed linens is not required.
• If you have used many bath towels, please wash them as a courtesy to arriving guests.

Gardener

A gardener typically visits twice per week to care for the terrace plants, usually during the day on Mondays and Thursdays.

Housekeeping

For stays longer than six days, one courtesy cleaning day is provided.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi information for Unit 9F is provided through Airbnb on the day of arrival.

Televisions

The unit has three high-definition televisions, with one television in each of the three bedrooms.

Tipping

Tipping is a personal choice, but it is important to note that tips are a major source of income for many people in Mexico. The minimum wage of approximately $5 per day is not their primary source of income.

The level of service should guide the amount. A tip of 15%–20% is considered appropriate, although staff will graciously accept any amount.
