The Space
Casa Guapinol is situated just 1 kilometer from the center of the canton of Atenas. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and home to barn animals, creating a natural and peaceful environment.
The accommodation includes:
- Three bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed
- Two full bathrooms
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A living room
- A terrace
- A saltwater pool
- Parking available directly in front of the house
Privacy and Additional Details
Adjacent to Casa Guapinol, but completely separate and private, there is a small house occupied by family members. Privacy is fully maintained by a natural vegetation fence that separates the two homes, ensuring complete independence.
To the left of the house, there is a green area that is part of the property and available for guests to explore and enjoy freely.
Pool maintenance is scheduled every Monday at 12 noon as part of an external service contract.
Starting from the second week of April, construction work will begin in the front area of the property. This will not impact the privacy of Casa Guapinol at any time.
Important Rules
Smoking cigarettes or using vaporizers is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the property.

Una casa y un lugar en general, espectacular!! Tiene todo lo que se requiere y más, lugar muy limpio y hermoso; la piscina deliciosa, el clima hace que uno no quiera salir de ahí. Recomendadisimo, para descansar, relajarse y pasarla bonito!!

Maria’s place was absolutely lovely! Everything was as described and comfortable. We loved that we could easily walk into town and grab something delicious to eat then retreat back to tranquility. Maria herself was so friendly and responsive and really did make us feel right at home. It was our little slice of Costa Rican paradise and we will look back at our stay fondly in Atenas.

This home is beautiful and located in a very convenient location. My wife and I walked to several different restaurants and to the grocery stores, banks, pharmacy, etc. The resident horses were fun to watch and helped make our stay even more peaceful. I met Maria Fernanda’s grandfather the first morning that we were there and he was delightful! He even gave us a bunch of bananas that were delicious! We 100% recommend this house and we will be going back!

Un lugar maravilloso, amplio, con mucha vegetación y todas las comodidades. Se llega en 30 minutos desde San José. Los anfitriones fueron atentos y respondieron muy rápido.

Nos encantó, pasamos unos días de descanso muy bonitos. El lugar estaba muy limpio y olía muy bien. La piscina también limpia y de un tamaño perfecto. El primer día hubo un problema con el abastecimiento de agua en la localidad, sin embargo el tanque de agua de la casa funcionó muy bien, por lo que no tuvimos ninguna molestia y María siempre estuvo al tanto de que no nos faltara nada. Super recomendado.

Nice place that would have been more peaceful if not for major road construction (out of the owners control). It would also have been nice to get an advance warning or even the option to cancel but unfortunately we got neither. Also disappointing to not have soap and shampoo in the shower.

This place is a true gem. With three separate buildings on the property, 2 sleeping areas and 1 common area, it’s perfect for peacefulness. The property is quiet and beautiful.
