We stayed at four Airbnbs over 21 days in Costa Rica, and this was the only one where we didn't feel comfortable or taken care of. It's run by a management company and you feel that in the experience. Our basic questions and requests were met with responses that ranged from indifferent to defensive. The house is beautiful and the location is great, a short walk from downtown Samara and the beach. We did really enjoyed the video game console. What we noticed is that the house was designed to photograph well rather than to be a comfortable place to live. For example, the AC is only in the bedrooms, so the rest of the house gets very hot. We love windows/fans but their suggestion to open the doors didn't work and also most of the windows and doors don't have screens, so the mosquitos can come in. Overall, our stay was OK and if you plan to spend a lot of time in the house, we'd look elsewhere.

Ottimo alloggio, con un ampio e luminoso salone al piano terra ed una bella cucina aperta. Letti molto comodi e grande ordine d pulizia al nostro arrivo.

Stayed here a week and had a great time. We did have some bugs inside the place, and the coffee maker was very slow, but they were very fast to response and offered to come out and check but it didn’t bother us enough to warrant that. The house is very nice but does get warm outside the bedrooms (stayed in late June/early July). Had plenty of games to keep our 4 and 6 year old entertained, and the pool was great. Just a short drive to the town/beach. Had a great stay

We had a great time on Spring Break with three teenagers. The space was perfect for us and we all slept so well. Hearing the howler monkeys each morning ( and seeing them!) was a delight. The house is close to everything but also nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood. We loved it!

Casa Helene was beautiful! The kids loved the pool and enjoyed laying on the net. We had a rental car but restaraunts, groceries and beach were walkable, within 10-15 minutes. We felt safe and secure. Host was responsive to all questions. We would definitely stay again.

This was a lovely home for our family of 5. The lounging net and view through the window was the absolute best. We all enjoyed it. Great location. Beds comfortable and A/C in bedrooms worked well. Would definitely stay her again.

We loved our stay at Casa Helene! We've been to Samara many times, and this neighborhood is our favorite to stay in - close to everything, but removed when you want the quiet. The house is beautiful and clean and was just as pictured. We loved the pool and the outdoor space. The clothes line was also helpful. And our kids definitely got a kick out of the net - a favorite place to read! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
