Green Refuge Villas is a small family project in Monteverde, located within a wildlife refuge and surrounded by lush vegetation, animals, and beautiful birds that can be heard from dawn. The property is ideal for large families or groups of friends.
Santa Elena’s town center is just 5 minutes away, offering a variety of restaurants and shopping options. The property also provides convenient access to the area’s different tourist destinations. The site is completely private and secure.
The Space
This is one of the few accommodations in the area offering a jacuzzi with mountain views, making it especially suitable for:

- Groups of couples who prefer separate suites
Set in a protected area, the property is surrounded by a wide variety of trees, plants, birds, and other wildlife. Guests can hike through the mountains away from the noise of town.
The property includes two buildings, each with two floors. Double beds can be added on the second floors upon request or depending on the number of guests. The accommodations feature modern amenities comparable to those of a five-star hotel, while offering greater privacy and everything needed for an enjoyable stay in Monteverde.
Beautiful garden areas beside the rooms attract butterflies and birds. Parking is located inside the property, directly in front of the accommodations, and is exclusively available to guests renting this space.

Guests have access to a large parking area within the property and may enjoy the garden areas, where hummingbirds, butterflies, and other birds are abundant. These can be observed from the balconies. White-faced monkeys may also be seen at certain times of the year, as the property is located along a natural wildlife corridor.

Lovely place, 100% recommended for large groups. Elvis is a super host who is willing to provide any kind of help. We were a group of nationals, but if I had been getting to know the country, I would have liked to have had that kind of accompaniment. Elvis's place is what it looks like in the photos. it is very clean. I would say that since we had the whole place it's like two hotel rooms connected by a stairway with porches on the front and back with little kitchens. He was very quick to respond and met us to check in. He was very very helpful and friendly. I would recommend staying here. I would note that when coming down the final road, you turn before the night walk sign on the right and this home is right in there on the right side. and there was enough parking for us all

The cabins are really great for big families, or two families traveling together like us this time. It's in a very quiet, tranquil place, yet very accessible to great restaurants in the Santa Elena and Monteverde downtowns. It's just next to an open reserve, where it takes only 2 minutes to go to a night tour. The cabins are spacious, clean, and above all, reasonably priced. Elvis is the most friendly host I've ever had, who was super proactive in offering help to book reservations and even answer my questions about driving routes. Elvis helped me book two tours hassle free while we were enjoying our day or resting, which was a huge plus to non-Spanish speakers and travelers with kids. Don't worry about price being inflated, no, Elvis just made the reservations and we paid whatever the place would charge in you walk in.
