Villa Madom

The Space

Villa Madom is a uniquely designed, brand-new villa with a pool, located just a few minutes’ walk from Marino Ballena National Park.

The home accommodates up to six guests across two spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom includes:

• One king-size bed
• One individual bed
• Air conditioning and fans
• Television
• Private bathroom with hot water
• Hairdryer
• Towels, organic soap, shampoo, and shower gel

A crib is available free of charge.

An additional bathroom is located in the garden.

The fully equipped kitchen provides essential cooking supplies, including salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, and oil. It also features:

• Refrigerator with ice maker
• Dishwasher
• Large dining table made from local Guanacaste wood

The water is drinkable.

The living room includes a comfortable sofa and warm, cozy lighting. Large sliding doors connect the terrace with the kitchen and living room, improving airflow and providing an open view of the garden and pool.

The outdoor terrace includes a grill and is ideal for relaxing, cooling off in the pool, or enjoying a favorite drink or Costa Rican coffee.

Location and Activities

Villa Madom is a five-minute walk from Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, one of Costa Rica’s most visited national parks.

Playa Chaman and Playa Colonia are accessible on foot along the beach. Surfers can also visit Playa Dominical and Playa Hermosa, two of Costa Rica’s top surf breaks.

Jungle excursions, waterfalls, and rivers are available within a short drive of the house. Local markets take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at El Mercado in Uvita, Puntarenas.

Nearby, you will find restaurants and traditional local eateries known as “sodas.” Grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, ATMs, and medical facilities are also within easy reach.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire house, garden, and utility room, which includes:

• Washing machine
• Dryer
• Iron
• Laundry supplies
• Cleaning supplies

Two parking spaces are available on the property. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is not required to reach the home.

Important Information

• Please turn off the air conditioning when leaving the house.
• Turn off all lights inside the house and in the garden.
• Trash is collected early in the morning on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
• The pool attendant arrives on Tuesdays and Fridays at approximately 1:00 p.m. Denying access is a violation of the accommodation terms.
• The property is located in a tropical and subtropical climate with a rich natural environment. The presence of insects and small reptiles is not grounds for a refund.
• Occasional water, internet, or power outages may occur. These events are rare, beyond our control, and are not grounds for a refund.
• In the event of a power outage, the house has independent lighting.
