Casa Colibri is a newly constructed home that blends modern design with natural surroundings, providing guests with a beautiful setting to experience the best of San Juan del Sur. This residence is designed to offer both luxury and practicality, situated just minutes from the town center.

The Space

This three-bedroom house accommodates up to ten guests and includes all the essential amenities travelers expect:

• Air conditioning in every bedroom
• Wi-Fi
• Hot water
• Fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking essentials
• Washer and dryer
• Private swimming pool
• BBQ grill (staff assistance available)

The home features an open-concept layout with screened doors that open onto the patio, allowing for cross ventilation throughout. The living and kitchen areas do not have air conditioning but are equipped with fans.

Utilities and Usage

Due to the high cost of electricity in Nicaragua, the rental includes 35 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per night, which is sufficient for a comfortable stay. Guests are encouraged to turn off air conditioning and other appliances when not in use to stay within this limit.

• Additional electricity usage beyond 35 kWh per day will be charged at USD 0.50 per kWh.
• For long-term rentals (28 days or more, or when a discounted monthly rate applies), electricity is not included and must be paid separately along with internet and water.
• Average electricity consumption typically ranges from 15 to 35 kWh per day.

Water and Pool

• The tap water comes from a well and is suitable for washing and bathing but not for drinking.
• Five gallons of drinking water are provided per reservation.
• The pool is completely private and not shared with other guests.

Guest Access and Support

Guests have full access to the entire house. A caretaker lives on the property in a separate service area and assists with security, pool and garden maintenance, and general guest support. Laundry service is available through the housekeeper for $5 per wash.

Additional Information

• Upon arrival, guests are required to provide a $200 damage deposit and sign an agreement accepting responsibility for electricity charges if usage exceeds the included amount, as well as any damages to the property.
• Being mindful of electricity consumption helps keep rental costs reasonable given the high local rates.
