Ivy House made our Cartagena stay unforgettable. The house itself is amazing: beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and clearly well cared for down to the smallest detail. Every space felt inviting and comfortable, and we never wanted to leave. The house staff were the real standout. Warm, attentive, and always one step ahead, they kept everything running smoothly and made us feel genuinely looked after from arrival to departure. Nothing was ever too much to ask. The owner, Dan, is a wonderful person and incredibly responsive. Any question or request, big or small, was handled right away, and his care for his guests shows in everything about the place.

Dan’s place was amazing for our group. The location couldn’t have been better, central to everything. The house was beautifully decorated and the rooftop had amazing views. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The house staff was amazing and helpful. Dan himself was an amazing host and was very communicative. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, and you shouldn’t either.

My friends and I had the greatest experience here. The whole team here was very attentive and hospitable. I would highly recommend this place as a solid stay in Cartagena. Our stay at Ivey House Cartagena was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The property was beautifully designed, spotless, and even better than the photos. Every detail felt intentional and elevated, creating a luxury yet comfortable experience in the heart of Cartagena. A huge thank you to our host, Dan Durda, who was incredibly responsive, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire stay. Communication was seamless, recommendations were excellent, and hospitality was truly top-tier. The location was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a high-end stay in Cartagena with an outstanding host, I highly recommend Ivey House Cartagena. Easily a 5-star experience and we would absolutely stay here again. The staff is exceptional and Luis is an amazing security guard and doorman. I recommend renting the entire building, so you have the space for just your party.

While on the more expensive range of locations in Cartagena, Ivy House lived up to all the expectations and more. We had an amazing time. The place is located in the heart of the old city and has all the amenities you would need for a bit larger group. The staff and the host were all incredibly helpful and very responsive for anything we needed. Can only recommend!
