Casa Chulada is a recently completed luxury home in the quiet village of Troncones, Mexico. The word “chulada” is sometimes used to describe people, places, and things that are exceptionally beautiful—often in a luxurious and delightful way. We chose this name because it captures how we feel when we are here: in the house, gardens, and pool; on the beach; and in the surrounding communities. We hope you experience that same feeling during your stay.
The Space
Casa Chulada is designed for relaxing, enjoying time with family and friends, and creating memorable experiences. Located in a prime, secluded setting on Playa Troncones, the property includes a well-furnished home and apartment designed primarily by the owners, Teri and Sid, in collaboration with local builders, landscape designers, gardeners, and architects.
Built in the Hacienda architectural style, the home is beautiful, welcoming, and richly detailed while remaining cozy and inviting.
The house is surrounded by gardens filled with flowers and fruit trees, offering a peaceful setting for enjoying the Mexican coast in an atmosphere of harmony and tranquility.
Bedrooms
Each bedroom provides a comfortable retreat for relaxing or enjoying quiet time alone. All en-suite bedrooms feature high-quality bed linens and towels made from natural fibers, creating a luxurious and pampering environment.
Relaxation and Activities
Casa Chulada is an ideal setting for meditation and relaxation. The sound of the waves and birdsong creates a peaceful backdrop for reconnecting with nature and yourself.
Although the property feels secluded, it is close to a traditional Mexican village with small stores, local life, fine restaurants, and access to many wonderful activities.

Whether you enjoy cooking or simply want to share an intimate, relaxed family meal, the spacious dining room and well-equipped kitchen provide plenty of room to prepare and enjoy food together.

The pool is kept relatively free of chlorine using a copper and silver ion treatment system designed for cleanliness and safety. An outdoor shower and pool bathroom are located nearby.
A path and gently sloping stairs lead down to the beach and the new beach palapa. The open front garden is a pleasant space for dining, having a drink, reading, or simply relaxing.

Next Level. Casa Chulada is stunning. Decor is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. Pool and outdoor living area was perfect for our group to relax in the sun play games in the shade or access the beach at sunrise and sunset.

After losing our family home earlier this year in the California fires it has been really difficult to feel at home anywhere. But Casa Chulada reignited that feeling in all of us. For the first time this year we were all relaxed, at peace and were able to enjoy ourselves and truly feel at home. The house is gorgeous, the staff is amazing - Shout out to Natalie the chef who cooked most of our meals for us and they were so delicious we only ventured out for one meal in the 4 days we were there. Lupita the house manager was so helpful as well in getting us situated and assisting with transfers. We are already talking about coming back and the only thing we wished in this trip was that we stayed for longer. Syds place is an absolute gem and if you can stay there, we all highly recommend it.

Casa Chulada was fantastic and what we expected from the photos and listing. Sydney was a great host always reaching out in advance giving us information and very helpful. The house is extremely nice with tons of space and amazing access to the beach. The daily cleaning inside and out was a nice perk. Would definitely come back and stay again. Our family of 5 had so much space and were incredibly comfortable

This is the second time we've stayed at Casa Chulada and we're delighted with the house, the beach and the service. Natalie is an excellent cook and made us feel at home, all the staff at Casa Chulada are very warm and helpful.

Wonderful home in a charming town with a chef who brought the whole trip together. Nathalie is a must 👩🍳 ❤️ and the backyard and pool is a tranquil, idyllic vibe.

Everything about this stay was amazing! Mariana was very helpful with all the needs around the house. The chefs Fannie and Natalie were exceptional, everything they cooked was amazing and my whole family loved it. The house has a great access to the beach with some small restaurants and cafes as a 10 minute walk from the house. Would definitely recommend!!
