The Space
Casa Calilla is thoughtfully designed around the swimming pool, which serves as the central gathering area. Nearby, guests will find the palapa, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, hammocks, and garden.
Each of the four bedrooms includes a private full bathroom, modern air conditioning, and fans. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Bathroom towels and pool towels are provided. Guests are encouraged to bring their own beach towels.
The spacious 300-square-meter upper palapa is located on the second floor and offers privileged sea views. It has a private entrance, an elegant living room, a dining room, and a bathroom.
For a few weeks each year, I use the loft located on the middle floor between the ground floor and the large second-floor palapa. The loft has a separate entrance from the street, allowing guests to enjoy all of Casa Calilla’s spaces and services with complete privacy.

Excellent experience ⭐️ Our stay was excellent. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The location is perfect and everything was taken care of down to the details. We really couldn't ask for more. We were very sorry to stay only a few days, because we would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the house and the surroundings much more. Alejandro was ideal from the very beginning: he waited for us upon our arrival and was attentive to everything to make our stay perfect. Everything was very easy and pleasant. We loved staying at Casa Calilla. Manu was friendly and helpful. It was even nicer than the pictures. The area is quiet but close to lots of restaurants and a short walk to the beach.

We loved everything! The place is super large, with a pool, a bathroom for each room, an amazing terrace, and everything is very clean! Manu is a very good host! Super friendly, he gave us recommendations and responded to our messages quickly. Everything was close to the house on foot as well. We would definitely go back!

Manu’s place is centrally located right on one of the main strips in Zicatela. It’s spacious clean and a great place to relax. The pool is big and there is a driveway if you rent a car or ATV. Manu himself was super communicative and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend staying here!

An excellent stay in every way. The house is beautiful, very well located, and it was impeccably clean. Everything looks super well kept, from the interior spaces to the garden and the pool, which are really beautiful and very well maintained. Manu and Sergio are lovely hosts: very kind, attentive, and always making sure that nothing was missing. His hospitality made the stay even better. Definitely an absolute recommendation for staying in Puerto Escondido.
