The Space
Experience tranquility at our cozy log cabin nestled in the heart of a regenerative cattle farm. Constructed entirely from teak wood, Cabaña Armonía is tastefully furnished and includes an indoor fireplace, a terrace with a wood-fired oven, a herb garden, and all the essential amenities to provide a peaceful retreat in Bajos del Toro.
The cabin is situated just five minutes from downtown Bajos del Toro and eight minutes from popular waterfalls such as Río Agrio, Dinoland, and Tesoro Escondido.
Inside, you will find a spacious living room centered around a fireplace that keeps the space warm and inviting during the evenings. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks a vibrant garden. Bedrooms are clean and roomy, and the bathroom offers a warm shower along with all necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.
The terrace is ideal for gathering with friends and family to enjoy meals, whether it's a barbecue, fresh pizzas from the wood-fired oven, or dishes prepared on a traditional Costa Rican wood-burning stove. All of this can be savored while taking in the beautiful garden and stunning views of the volcanic area once affected by an eruption.
Feel free to stroll through the garden and pick fruits from the trees. You can also explore up to 5 kilometers of gravel roads within Finca la Comarca to fully appreciate the farm's natural surroundings.
Please note, no parties are allowed. This space is designed for relaxation and connecting with nature. We recommend staying for more than one night to truly experience the cabin and its surroundings.
Guest Access
The area is peaceful and quiet both day and night, and it remains safe at all times. Although the cabin is secluded from the main building, it is located within a working cattle farm. The property around the cabin is private for guests, but farm workers may be present while carrying out their daily tasks.
Other Things to Note
Coyotes are common in this region. During your stay, you will likely hear them howling at night since they are nocturnal and hunt in small packs. If you happen to see one, there is no cause for concern—they primarily feed on rodents and pose no threat to humans. Enjoy observing these creatures from a distance.

The wooden cabin in the mountains offers every comfort. It is very well equipped, super cozy and beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The view of the garden and mountains was great. We heard the coyotes at night. In the immediate vicinity, there are the most beautiful waterfalls and, of course, blue swimming pools. A great house in a great setting. We would recommend this cabin at any time.

Fantastic rustic cabin in a beautiful location. Highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for peace and quiet. Catarata del Toro & Blue Falls are a must see, only 20 minutes drive away. Lovely local walks where we saw Capuchin monkeys. Recommend stocking up with food before you arrive, local shop has limited options. Javier was an excellent host. Loved the fresh milk every morning. Thank you.

Javier's place is a beutiful wooden house, very cosy and would have everything you need for a quite family vacation. The uncdoor space is veutiful and yhe outdoor offers a wioden Pizza oven and BBQ aswell as an outdoor kitchen. Great with kids. the garden is beutiful and the surrounding is quite. It is also very close to Bajis del toro center where you can find groceries and restaurants. There were a few issues with our stay: 1. The frobt gate was locked when we got there abd we had to wait for it to be opened - not that bad but not the best checkin experience. 2. The wifi did not work throughoyt our stay - while the host tried to solve it ge couldn't because it was weekend, It was not that bad to be disconnected. 3. there was an annoying flickering light outside that drove us mad at night. all in all it's a great place, given the issues above are fixed, worth staying.

Great spot in the mountains. Our kids loved watching the cows and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Close to a few restaurants and sodas. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with the basics. The porch is so nice to sit and enjoy the view or dine outside. There is also a little pizza shop around the corner called Ficus Pizza, some of the best pizza we had on our trip.
