Casa Colibri

Beautiful private spot south of tulum beach , great pool, amazing beach spot. It is a 15 minute walk ( as advertised) into areas like be telum or the nest but we like being a bit removed. Nice kitchen, great communication! Nice private outdoor space which we enjoy!

We just spent six idyllic days in Casa Colibri. It was very comfortable, private, and perfect for our family of four. There were a lot of places to hang, from the porch overlooking the ocean to the pool, to the beach. The grounds were rustically beautiful and filled with interesting nooks and crannies for my boys to explore. Stefan and his team were excellent hosts- responsive and helpful. We loved the location which was close enough to walk to a lot of places (restaurants, cenotes, shops) but nicely removed from the clubbier aspects of Tulum Beach. We’ll be back!

Our family of four just spent a glorious, relaxing week at Casa Colibri and we’re already trying to figure out when we can return! Stefan and Hui’s place and the entire experience gets a 10/10. The accommodations are just as advertised, and the setting is better than advertised. 15 seconds from the door to the sand and sea. Our 10 year-old loved the pool, our teenager appreciated the rooftop hammock hang out, and the parents took advantage of the lovely deck and comfy furniture for a secret nap or three. The beachfront and swimming were heavenly. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals and cocktail hour. Bedrooms were airy and cool for sleeping. Staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the pre-arrival grocery shopping service and were so happy we did. Highly recommend Claudia for an in-house massage. Stefan and Hui were super responsive and helpful with advance planning and throughout our stay. Thank you for sharing your special place with us!

Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more. The cabin was pristine, with little touches to make everything perfectly comfortable and very private. It was magical to watch the sun rise over the ocean only a few steps from our place, and to sleep to the sound of crashing waves. We enjoyed long swims in the beautiful shaded pool where we could listen to the sound of birds. The grocery delivery made everything super convenient and we loved the beautiful grounds, particularly in the early evening as the shell lights came on. The location was great, with restaurants an easy walk down the beach either way, or a cenote with a restaurant across the street. Quiet, peaceful and a perfect respite for us. We can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay and will be back. Stefan and Hui are great hosts who meet you upon check in, go over the house features, and are super responsive when communicating. The home is right on the beach and it is SPECTACULAR! An easy 10 minute walk up the beach or on the road to the hotels and shops. We loved that the home was not in the middle of the action and offered a sanctuary-like feeling that’s private and very quiet. Things to do: take a dip in the pool, nap in the rooftop hammocks to the sound of the ocean, open the windows and let that breeze flow through. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night was magical! And, they offer a grocery service. Everything we asked for was stocked and there upon arrival- a really nice touch since we didn’t have a car. We really enjoyed our stay. Hope to be back someday!!
