Casa Nautika retreat sits about one mile up a steep dirt road from the highway between Uvita and Dominical. A 4×4 vehicle is recommended for easier access.

Our three-day stay in Dominicalito was greatly enhanced by Jonathan's beautiful home. Perched in the jungle with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, the property is perfect for relaxing in a hammock or on the large terrace while observing nature. We saw monkeys, parrots, and several birds while surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. The outdoor layout is magnificent, with beautiful paths, tropical flowers, and several places to admire the view, even from the roof. The interior is spacious, clean and very comfortable, with a large, welcoming open area. The hosting was also great. Even when he was away, Jonathan responded quickly and kindly to our questions, and his on-site assistant was very helpful throughout the stay. Even though Dominicalito is a rather quiet place, this house makes the experience truly special. In addition, the superb Poza Azul waterfall is only a few minutes away. A must-see!

Jonathan's house is a marvel! Immersed in the jungle with the background of cicadas, birds and howler monkeys.😍 From the terrace and the pool you can enjoy A spectacular sunset every evening and (in addition to the shala) there is a rooftop platform where you can do yoga or simply admire the sunset over the sea.

Beautiful view, great environment. John was very responsive to our questions. Great value for money, just keep in mind the 10-15 minutes of arduous 4x4 climb from the main road. The jungle and ocean views are worth it!

I enjoyed my stay at Jonathan’s, the property was beautiful with an ocean view had stunning garden area and well maintained communal and kitchen areas. For those who Practice yoga the Shala beneath the house is a bonus! As for my room it was quite humble and just enough for me. Rather humble but had a gorgeous view of the jungle which you wake to the sounds of the monkeys in the mornings! Some cons, As for the bed it was honestly rather uncomfortable spring box mattresses and with out a fan quite hot at night. Therefore had a bit restful sleeps Getting there was also quite an adventure and definitely need a 4x4, and one with good tires as I got stuck going up the driveway. However, Jonathan was super lovely in helping pull me out and saved the day. Overall, for the price was definitely a good place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with gorgeous view. Also very near to the Poza Azul Waterfall

Remarkably chill and comfortable! Lots of different spaces to watch beautiful views and vibes. I can't imagine a better place than this to hang. It is about 20 min up a steep gravel road so you probably want a car, We made it without 4*4 but no guarantee. We will be back!

A very nice jungle retreat we loved the shared kitchen that was very well equipped and the yoga hall. the host was very nice(lugaz). The room was pretty basic hostel style room but thr surrounding was beautiful and relaxing. Make sure you come there with a 4x4 car, especially in the rainy season
