Casa Neen

If there was a way to rate Eric and Casa Neen higher than 5 stars, I would do it. Eric was such a fabulous host - he was extremely attentive and responsive to anything that came up during our stay. You can tell he has great pride for Casa Neen and his community in Puerto Viejo.

Eric has put his heard and soul into the place, literally made most of the beautiful furniture and wood work. Beds and rooms are better if not equal to top notch hotels

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa. The house is very well located, clean, functional and tastefully decorated. It has a splendid tropical garden and a beautiful pool. Communication with Eric was perfect. We'll be happy to go back on a future trip.

We travel a lot and this was our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at. The house is so cool, absolutely beautiful. Everything is comfortable and clean. The pool is the perfect temperature and very refreshing. Eric met us at the gate and was so so kind, helpful, and made many recommendations on things to do, places to eat etc. He is extremely knowledgeable about navigating the area and he was always close by if we needed anything he would respond instantly. There is a small grocery store within walking distance as well as beach, 4 wheeler/dirt bike rental. Incredibly beautiful area to ride for hours and explore. You can go from black sand beach to pristine soft white sand within only minutes. Our favorite part of Costa Rica. Thank you for everything! We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful villa with a modern design, surrounded by a tropical garden with a landscaped swimming pool. Fully open to the outside, we had a great time. Everything is as described, but it's difficult to convey the atmosphere of the place, which is unique and exceptional. Eric was very attentive and was able to respond to all our requests. Very flexible, he gave us a taste of the "pura vida" for our first days in Costa Rica!

We enjoyed our stay here and I thought it had really good vibes! Eric was so helpful and I can’t say enough good things about him. We had a couple issues with our flight and he was so helpful in assisting us with problem solving. There is a little market that is within walking distance and we loved that because it was super helpful! We enjoyed the pool several times but I wish there was also a hottub, that would make it even better! Eric organized a chef for us one night and it was so wonderful! The chef was really great and we enjoyed the experience so much. Beach is in walking distance which is also nice. All of the living areas outside of the bedrooms arent within an enclosed space so just keep that in mind; thankfully it wasn’t too hot when we were there but in the heat of summer it might be uncomfortable. The A/c in the bedrooms work well. The landscaping is really beautiful. Overall a great experience in our trip!

Eric and his staff was nothing short of amazing . Beautiful house the beach is not a far walk and everyone just made us feel right at home . Definitely would recommend to a friend and can’t wait to go back ! Pura Vida

As others have said the photos don’t do justice to this incredible spot. The lush gardens make you feel immersed in the jungle. The beds are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning allowed us the amazing nights sleep. The location is very quiet and secure. We travelled with a 2 year old and the space was big enough for him to go crazy while still feeling very safe. The pool was a very comfortable temperature allowing us all to swim for hours at a time. Eric was very helpful from check in to check out recommending fun things to do for little kids. Even with heavy rains the first few days we found Casa Neen to be a great space to just hang out while waiting for the weather to break. We saw all manner of birds, lizards and monkeys from the house. The path to the beach was very convenient and we even saw dart frogs along the way. We would strongly recommend casa Neen to families looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay near Puerto Viejo

Can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful house. It’s unique in that it feels like you are outside and nature is part of the house. Perfectly decorated with a luxurious feel but homely touches. Restaurant within walking distance where you can also hire bikes for a 10 min cycle into the centre of town. Overall we did not want to leave!
