We are just back from a wonderful 2 week stay at La Chulada. We were very pleased with the property. The apartment is nicely furnished and very cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. We really wanted for nothing. The bedroom is very spacious and the walk in closet has lots of space for hanging clothes and storing luggage. We found the king size bed very comfortable. The terrace is fantastic with both a covered area and a large open area. Enjoying our morning coffee on the terrace quickly became routine. As this was our first time in Puerto Aventuras we found the location to be perfect. You are literally no more than a 2 or 3 minute walk to the restaurants and beach. The small market is directly below and had most of what we needed. Gina and Andy were great hosts. The information package that they emailed was helpful and introducing themselves upon our arrival was very reassuring. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. They truly are Super Hosts.

In the heart of Puerto Aventuras, a guest can expect to get a perched view of all the area has to offer. It's your own little slice of the life on PA. Central to all the restaurants and shops, chock full of everything you need to make your stay quite enjoyable. Sparkling clean, super responsive hosts, so welcoming. We loved listening to the music, watching the sparkling lights from our balcony, drinking coffee while the sun rises over the marina and greenery. The very spacious, private patio is a dream all on its own. We never wanted for anything. This is a perfect location for a single or couple to stay on PA.

Once again we had a great stay at La Chulada!! The apartment is huge for a one bedroom property, with the icing on the cake being an enormous terrace. Gina has always been quick to help with any of our requests. The property comes with membership of the Omni Hotel with its lovely pool, restaurant and beach palapas! A great value find for any couple wanting to stay in Puerto Aventuras!

Wonderful apartment in Puerto Aventuras. Gina was very responsive to any needs and the place was very well appointed. We usually stay at a beach front place but we were taking our dog and needed a pet friendly place. It was perfect with the large patio/nice grill and convenience to everything. The use of the Omni beach area was perfect and close by so we really didn’t miss being ocean front. The beds were very comfortable and we had all of the amenities of home with convenience of all of the restaurants and farmers market. We loved our stay here.

Comfy condo in a GREAT LOCATION. The place was clean and tidy and steps away from great restaurants and bars. Great communication with hosts. The membership to the OMNI is a wonderful amenity. The OMNI is VERY close....we went to the beach everyday.

Great place. The welcome packet after making reservations was extremely helpful. The "self check-in" process was nice. All the amenities one needs. Outside rooftop area is large and a great place to relax in the evenings. Absolutely no problems from booking to departure. Location is the big plus and slight minus. It's a big plus because it puts you within walking distance of any think you need (food, pharmacy, recreation,and more). Slight minus, because the restaurant guests, and bands can get somewhat loud. There are closing hours so it does not continue through the night.

We would not stay here again. In fact, we ended up leaving a week early due to the issues noted below. I read all of the previous review before booking this condo, and now having stayed there I question the accuracy of some of the statements. There is NO beach view from the terrace. There is a view of the dolphin area that is part of the marina, views of restaurants below, and views of the alley below. This is also not "low key" as one person said, and although it does quiet down before midnight, it is very noisy until after 11p every night. Now for my review: The condo is very clean and nicely furnished. It is a bit cozy but comfortable for a couple. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is also equipped with enough utensils and appliances. The day after we arrived the construction started. First, we saw guys climbing over our balcony directly from the bedroom patio doors, I went out to see what was going on and watched them retrieve a ladder from the balcony and continue up on to our roof. Then we got to hear hammering on concrete all day. We planned on diving and exploring the 1st few days anyway, and also that that maybe there was some emergency repair going on, so we decided to ignore it. Well, this went on several days each week during our stay. The next issue are the gas powered leaf blowers that start every morning between 630-7am, 7 days a week. If you would like to sleep in-good luck. Then there is the nightly music that starts around dinner. There are several restaurants just below the condo that play live music every night. All of this music can be heard inside the condo, even with all of the windows/doors closed. This goes on every night until well after 10P. The description for the property is misleading, as it says "The Commercial Center is Lively during winter months mainly Holidays until Easter week around dinner time with music around the marina area", but this translates into every night being a holiday, as there were no nights without noise. It was very difficult to get to sleep prior to the entertainment ending. This would be a good place if you like to party every night, except for the early morning leaf blower alarm clocks. The host responded to my complaint about the noise and said "music and blowers always seemed better than ambulance, sirens, cop cars, trains or helicopters. " The issue with this statement is that I dont hear any of this at home, and I certainly dont expect to pay a premium to stay somewhere and have to be subjected to this either. Then there is the lack of cleanliness outside of the condo. The next issue is the lack of patio furniture as described and depicted in the ad. I asked the host about this and was told the HOA didnt like...

Gina and her condo are wonderful! My wife Neha and I cannot say enough good things about the space, the location and Gina's hospitality and prompt communication and action as a host. Gina and her properties are highly recommended.

Great location. Food outlets and entertainment were fabulous. OMNI MEMBERSHIP was a great touch. Beach and service was exceptional.
