Pamela always tries to help her guests and is also quickly reachable. However, you have to know that you have to share the property with nice fishermen who catch the lobsters. Therefore, there is a lot of boat traffic on the jetty by the house, and there may be a fish odor. The house is situated on a side street where only locals live, so you need a golf cart or you can walk to the main street, where taxi drivers will also stop without any problem. In the evening, you can watch a fantastic sunset. The house has few shaded spots at midday.

First Pamela was great! She will help with most anything you need. The house is beautiful. It’s in the middle of the island so that is nice for easier access to both ends. A few issues, the stovetop wouldn’t boil a normal pot of water. Even after googling how to use that type of stove it just didn’t get hot enough. Frustrating when we just bought two live lobsters from the neighbors then couldn’t cook them. So we decided to pull the gas grill top out and try to cook them that way. Nope. It wouldn’t stay lit. So we let the $60 of lobster go back into the ocean. What a bummer! Also don’t be surprised that the area right next to you is a fishing area. So it stinks, there is a ton of garbage and trash where the fishing guys hang out and cook/drink. It wasn’t a problem but just wasn’t expected. The fishermen were very respectful and not loud or anything. Just something to know before you book so you are not surprised. Other than that we had amazing time and will return to the island

The house is very beautifully situated by the water - with fantastic sunsets and views that we enjoyed very much. The beds are large and comfortable to sleep in. It's a peaceful location away from tourism and noise, which we really liked. However, we were disappointed with the place and the cleaning, considering the price. I think it's too expensive compared to the house, and the pool needs maintenance.

We loved staying here! Everything was perfect. The space is beautiful, very comfortable, and the ocean view is simply spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was the perfect place to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party. Everything was spotless and we didn't lack a thing. We would definitely go back! The hosts were super friendly and always attentive during our stay. ⭐️ I would definitely recommend this stay.

We loved our stay at Pamela's place and would definitely stay there again in the future. The location was FANTASTIC - very centrally located on the island. Being right on the water was perfect for our family, we loved sitting on the dock watching the boats go by and enjoying the sunsets. We also took advantage of being able to be picked up by boat for a day on the water. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt extremely safe and secure. The house itself was clean, comfortable and provided everything as listed. We all agreed that the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had on a vacation. I really can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Pamela's and our week on the island - we can't wait to go back!

Our family vacation was very enhanced by Casa Manola! Pamela is an extremely accommodating and responsive host. We were so happy to be in such a gorgeous and private home! We especially enjoyed the private boat dock, and the location of the home. Next time we come to Isla we would love to stay again!

Clean, comfy, and well equipped. the view is amazing and 100x better than I was expecting. We loved watching the boats come in and out. Our fishing charter picked us up right on the dock and we got the best massages I’ve ever had right on the dock as well. They came to us for cheaper than you can get one at home (Yesi Hernandez at spa La playita) The lobster fishermen that split the lot were fun! They traded us fresh lobster ceviche for cervesa and they were going to give us a great direct price on lobster for a fancy dinner at the house but our timing didn’t work out. Close to great breakfast (yayo and green verde) and Cuban spots (the mole at Rinconcito Kahlo!!) and the fish at El Varadero, yum. Sweet neighbor pups 🐶 were the cherry on top.
