Guests can wake up to the sights and sounds of Capuchin, Howler, and endangered Mono Titi monkeys, along with sloths, toucans, macaws, parrots, pelicans, agoutis, and iguanas. Hundreds of bird species are visible from the balconies, and on occasion, visitors might spot a mother whale and her calf offshore.

There are two access points to the public Espadilla Beach; one requires walking. The distance from the villa to the beach is approximately 400 to 500 meters. Restaurants and grocery stores are conveniently located within walking distance.
