Dreamy tree house, a jungle in middle of the city!

You should definitely book a stay at this magical treehouse in the jungle! The place has so much character with a large covered outdoor kitchen/dining area a few steps away from a picturesque pond. A beautiful serene place for us yogis. The bedroom is upstairs with A/C and a comfortable bed, as well. Ana and Gerardo are great hosts who are kind, helpful, and responsive! Wish we could have spent more time here. Thank you guys! We will be back :)

Wow—what an incredible place! If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, definitely book it. My wife and I ended our honeymoon here and were blown away by the property, the treehouse, and the hospitality. Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The communication was excellent, and the location was perfect—close to the airport (maybe a 15-20 min drive?), restaurants, and shopping. We arrived late after a long day of travel from Puerto Viejo, and the hosts kindly cooked us a delicious homemade vegan meal. That level of hospitality really shows how much they care about their guests. The treehouse itself was beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and very comfortable. We slept incredibly well, and the bed was super cozy. The hosts also made us a delicious vegan breakfast and even helped us arrange an Uber to the airport. We would absolutely stay here again.

Little oasis close to the airport. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and they were a lovely couple who provided breakfast and local information. Highly recommend!

Really fun place with a treehouse like upstairs and an open kitchen and relaxation area underneath. The place is on a big farm and is very secure. What a neat place so close to the hustle and bustle of Alajuela. Ana Lorena is an awesome host, providing snacks, breakfast, good company, maître D services, just an all-around great host. Cool place, we loved it.

This place is a great find. Ana was very responsive and met us when we arrived, walking us through the property. Very unique property and such a great place to relax in the kitchen area. Ana helped us find things close, was helpful when asked, and still had privacy while on the property. Would recommend anyone staying in San Jose area.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in der tollen Unterkunft von Ana Lorena. Wir wurden, trotz der etwas späteren Ankunft, sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Am nächsten Morgen hatten wir noch ein liebevoll zusammengestelltes Frühstück. Der Garten mit den vielen Pflanzen ist tropisches Paradies. Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt! Einen Kritikpunkt gibt es dennoch: Die nahegelegene große Straße ist ziemlich laut.

Quiet peaceful property. We had a little issue finding it (our fault) and the host came to find us in her vehicle. She went above and beyond to ensure we got there. Once we were there we were taken away by how beautiful the property was. Breakfast was provided for us in the morning and we got to use the outdoor kitchen to cook our freshly laid eggs the way we wanted. French press coffee and fresh fruit provided as well. Great start to our trip , would highly recommend.

MARAVILLOSO!!! ❤️🌿💚☘️🌳🌴 el mejor cumpleaños de mi vida!! 😍 precioso lugar, hecho a la perfección para desconectarte del ruido y conectarte con Dios y la naturaleza 🍂 rodeada de palmeras, bambus y mucha mucha paz!! 1 día no fue suficiente, nos queríamos quedar a vivir ahí! 🥰 Doña Lorena es un ser humano excepcional, podría decir que es como una “mamá” que te adopta y te hace sentir ese calorcito de casa, muy muy amable y atenta, todo impecable, demasiadas comodidades! Sin duda alguna, volveremos, pero muchos más días porque es un lugar lleno de mucho amor y paz ✌🏼 Nos vamos recargados y felices de haber reservado este INCREÍBLE LUGAR! No se arrepentirán! If its available - and you are even considering it - just go! Really beautiful and so close to the airport! We arrived to SJO late and after picking up our rental car, we didn't get to Ana Lorena's place until almost 11pm - but she was there to welcome us and everything was so easy. Just follow the directions to get to the place and see what a treasure awaits. Especially arriving late and then "seeing" the surroundings for the first time in the daylight the next morning. Take the time to get a short tour of the farm. Ana Lorena was so welcoming and excited to share her little slice of paradise with us - quite refreshing and very much appreciated by these travelers. Well done Ana Lorena!!

Buscábamos un lugar fuera de San José y me siento muy afortunado de haber encontrado este espacio. La propiedad es hermosa, amplia y se puede explorar; la casa está impecablemente cuidada, diseñada con excelente gusto y mucho cariño. Cada detalle y todas las atenciones de Lorena hicieron que la estadía fuera realmente magnífica. Lo recomiendo sin pensarlo dos veces (y si pudiera, lo recomendaría dos veces más). Está cerca de San José, pero se siente completamente apartado: naturaleza, silencio y mucha paz. Definitivamente volveré apenas tenga la oportunidad.
