3BR Condo in Puerto Vallarta

Overall, the place is very cute and offers a beautiful view of the city. There are a few things the host could improve to really elevate the experience. The dining table and chairs could use an upgrade, as some of the chairs were starting to fall apart. In one of the bathrooms, the showerhead had very low water pressure and seemed clogged. During our stay, we briefly lost power and water on one of the days. This was a city issue and not the host’s fault. The host was responsive and brought us buckets of water that evening so we could bathe and use the restroom, which we appreciated. It’s also important to note that the Airbnb is accessed by a funicular. If the power goes out, you’ll need to take the stairs instead, which is a fairly long walk uphill—so be prepared for that. The location itself is great: very local, with plenty of nearby restaurants and a few small shops where you can pick up essentials.

Stayed for a full week payed close to 4k for the space. He had no urgency in fixing toilet seats that were loose or a fridge that went out. Lost food from the fridge and 2 guests fell into toilets due to his negligence.

Pros: Raul's place had a fantastic view and is in a convenient (but hilly!) part of Puerto Vallarta, you can basically walk around the entire 5 diciembre area + zona romantica. The apartment is spacious. Cons: The water pressure was poor in some bathrooms. The apartment was a bit dirty/dusty/damp when we arrived. On the first night we realized we were short 2 bath towels and blankets, but Raul never responded to our messages for the entire time.

This place was great, the view was amazing and the place was pretty clean for the most part. But unfortunately our stay was not great, we had no access to water a couple hours into our stay and didn’t have water a majority of our time here, the host told me it was the whole block but it was just two house after talking to all the neighbors, he offered us dirty buckets of water that we had to boil and use for the day and a half it was extremely inconvenient and his response time was outrageously long, hours to respond when should’ve been faster knowing we needed to ask for water through messages as needed. We asked for late checkout because we delivered water the morning of check out 5 minutes before check out time and he denied us at first then after check out time once we were packed at the door he told us we could stay as long as needed. I understand the situation may have been out of his hands but how he handles the situation was not great. The place is also a great hassle to get to
