We absolutely loved our stay here. There is a nice beach area that we spent a lot of time at, and it was within walking distance of many great restaurants! 10/10 recommended this place if you are staying in Hopkins!

Beautiful room, great location right on the beach, loungers, kayak etc. at your disposal. Very nice, accommodating manager, the same goes for the other staff. Absolutely recommended, we felt very comfortable.

We had a good stay at the White Horse. We were looking for something a little more ‘home’ like, the White Horse is much more like a hotel. But, the pictures are exactly what you get. There are a couple places to stay at White Horse, and we stayed in the hotel portion, the small cottages on site would’ve been better suited for us but again, that’s on us. Unfortunately when you’re staying in the hotel the view of the beach is blocked by the cottages. They provided a few amenities which was nice. The coffee and drinking water they provided was greatly appreciated! The towels smelt very mouldy after first use, and the lounge chairs were rusted and falling apart. They did have other chairs on site to use, unfortunately the ones falling apart were the most comfortable. They have parking right beside the hotel which was a bonus for us. AC was cold, hot water was hot Hotel was clean and close to a few different eating options day and night.

The place was very nice and Laurene seemed very nice. Checking in? Not so nice. My app stated check in after 3pm. Most airbnbs in Belize are flexible with check ins as long as you come after 3pm, which makes sense since you paid for your time. Long story short, I spent my first night in my car because I arrived at 12:30am. Laurene's worker Angel I finally spoke with around 6am after calling many times, had zero empathy as if me sleeping in my car was a justifiable consequence for being late. I was on the phone with airbnb telling them imagine if someone had an emergency or a flight delay and had family with them and had no other way to communicate due to unforseen circumstances but still showed up desperate to get some rest, they too would've been denied access! In advance, please EXPLAIN to your guests that after a certain hour they cannot check in. Also, please help Angel learn how to address customers, I had to coach him into an apology, and I'm still waiting on one from Laurene.

Angel was responsive and informative. The Inn is located so close to the beach! It was well maintained and private. There was a grocery store very close by and many restaurants within walking distance. Parking was easy.

A great location in Hopkins. The guest house is clean, well maintained, beautiful beach, and I feel so lucky that we chose White Horse for our stay. We’ll be back.
