The Space
Villa Twilight Tree is a beautiful five-bedroom home featuring a modern, minimalist, and tropical design. Located within Hacienda Pinilla, the area's most exclusive gated community, the villa offers a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living. High ceilings and large windows enhance the spacious feel, while the pool shares the garden with a magnificent tree illuminated by natural hanging lights.
The villa is fully furnished with high-end pieces and includes a cozy living room that can accommodate up to 16 guests. For larger groups, an adjacent eight-bedroom villa is available to combine with this property.
Inside, the house offers:
- A spacious living room with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen
- An indoor dining table
- A TV lounge
- Access to the outdoors through a comfortable terrace
Outside amenities include:
- Sunbeds
- A swimming pool
- A lounge area

Bedrooms
The villa has five bedrooms:
- Master bedroom with a king-size bed (200 x 200 cm), private closet, and a large ensuite bathroom opening onto a tropical patio
- Junior bedroom with a king-size bed (200 x 200 cm), ensuite bathroom featuring an outdoor shower, and a TV
- Three family bedrooms, each with two queen-size beds (160 x 200 cm), a bathroom, and a TV
Each bedroom is fitted with ceiling fans, air conditioning, a closet, a safe, and blackout curtains.
Location
Hacienda Pinilla spans 4,500 acres of historic ranch land along three miles of pristine coastline in the Guanacaste Province and Nicoya Peninsula. This exclusive community offers a peaceful environment surrounded by untouched natural landscapes, providing ample space for relaxation and adventure.
Amenities
Hacienda Pinilla provides a variety of facilities, including:
- Tennis and pickleball clubs
- An 18-hole golf course
- Access to the Beach Club, which includes fitness facilities, an infinity pool, a conference room, a restaurant and bar, a playground, and beach access (guests receive membership access for $5 per person per day)
- Access to the JW Marriott amenities (available with a day pass at an additional cost), including restaurants and beach access
- Surfing opportunities at Little Hawaii, a nearby reef break accessible from the Beach Club
Airport Access
The closest international airport is Liberia, approximately a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from the villa. San Jose International Airport is about a 4-hour drive away. There are also domestic flights from San Jose to Tamarindo (40 minutes) operated by Sansa Airlines.
Airport transfers can be arranged upon request.

Housekeeping service is included from Monday to Saturday, excluding holidays.

The house is beautiful. Worth the splurge. It is very comfortable and everything works well. The pool area is so very appealing. Hard to leave. Hacienda Pinilla is very safe and everything is pristine. Make sure you stock up on groceries. There’s a very small market on premises, but really just for the very basics. If you don’t want to cook, the Beach Club and Marriott have a lot of good eating options. Leaving the resort premises requires a car. The JW has a car rental on-site. Maggie and Elodie could not be more responsive. They are helpful and wonderful in every way. This is a perfect place to relax, disconnect and leave your worries behind. This is my third, and certainly not the last time, I come to Guanacaste.

Our stay in Hacienda Pinilla exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and exactly as pictured on Airbnb, with plenty of space for our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids). Nothing is within walking distance so I'd recommend renting a car for visits to town. Tamarindo was a 20 minute drive and had a great selection of restaurants, shops, and beach access. Maggie greeted us on day one and was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. She helped us coordinate reservations and excursions which made planning easier. I highly recommend booking the catered Noali breakfast if you arrive late and don't have the time to shop. The spread and staff were amazing! Also, don't skip the clubhouse. For $5 pp you have access to the beach, spa, restaurant, and full bar. Overall a 10/10 experience. Food Recommendations: La Esquina De Avellanas for an open market food experience, Lola's for a beachfront sunset dinner, and II Rustico has yummy pastas.

This place was amazing and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with amenities. The Beach Club was amazing, and you can walk down the beach to Lola's, great restaurant right on the beach. The place was exactly as described in the listing and the house was beautiful.

Just wrapped up a group trip to Costa Rica to celebrate my wife's 40th. Leading up to the trip, I interacted A LOT with Maggie Merchado (Guest Manager & Concierge). Maggie helped me plan an unforgettable trip for my wife and our large group and was consistently friendly, responsive, and knowledgable. Specifically she helped me book airport transportation, golf cart rentals, private chef meals, activities (e.g. zipline, sunset catamaran, massages) and more. The villa was lovely and perfect for our group. Would recommend 10/10.

Our stay was just amazing. I was concerned as we were 8 adults and 7 children under 8. The home is spectacular. Well appointed , pristine clean , comfortable, spacious and the beds were extremely comfy. We managed getting g around d the are with 2 cars and a driver. The club is beautiful. Everyone is so helpful and kind!!
