The Space
Casa Cerca Del Mar is a comfortable four-bedroom, four-bathroom home featuring a private pool and lush, secluded gardens. Located just steps from the beach, this two-story residence offers a relaxing coastal retreat.
The house is uniquely situated only 50 meters from the shoreline and close to all essential amenities. It includes a covered, furnished veranda on the second floor, which connects via a spiral staircase to a shaded belvedere on the third level. Both outdoor spaces provide stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire home, including the pool and surrounding grounds. The rental package includes:
- Twice-weekly maid service
- Daily maintenance of the pool and gardens
- Full support from a local manager
Christelle, the local manager, is available to assist with transportation to and from Liberia Airport, as well as arranging tours and excursions.
Two ocean kayaks are provided for guest use. These are perfect for exploring the nearby small islands or fishing in the bay, which is known for species such as Wahoo, Snapper, and Rooster Fish.

Great location close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Host was very responsive to any issues that arose. A large group of Howler Monkeys came the afternoon before we left to say goodbye! 🙂

A lovely place in a lovely spot! Location can't be beat, the beach is right there, on a quiet street with beautiful sunsets. Lots of monkeys and iguanas and birds in the trees while you're relaxing in the pool and backyard. The hosts were amazing, so helpful and responsive. If we needed something, they helped right away. Highly recommend this property, we stayed 2 weeks and had an amazing time.

The place wasn’t clean. After crawling in the kitchen and living room, my 9-month-old’s feet and knees were black. The maid service didn’t include cleaning the floors. We also felt unsafe due to a back unit where several men appeared to be staying and/or regularly hanging out. This wasn’t disclosed to us, isn’t mentioned in the listing, and we never had any introduction. While my family was in the pool (including my 3-year-old without clothes on), we could see men loitering nearby in their underwear, which was alarming and uncomfortable. We noted this to the property manager, without resolution. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience, and I’d recommend choosing another property.

Our family of five stayed here. We were so happy we did!. We were worried that this was a little away from popular attractions, but we loved being in Potrero. We were still able to find our way to the attractions, yet we also had a laid back, local feel vibe. The beach was steps away from the unit, and felt unique. We encountered all kinds of wildlife, including a pack of monkeys while we were swimming at the home. The host had everything we needed(boogey board, cooler, beach chairs), and the home was stocked with every travel amenity we needed. The home was larger than we expected, and more than we needed. We would definitely recommend this unit!

Great location in laidback town of Potrero! Response from host was prompt with quick turnaround times. Beds were comfortable and house accommodated 7 family members traveling together for a week. Great central location for exploring area. Thanks so much!

We've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this was by far our favorite. Lovely house, comfortable beds, a great bathroom for each of the bedrooms, fantastic pool with warm water in a great neighbourhood, only steps from a beautiful, quiet beach. We watched the sunsets from our balcony or took the conveniently supplied camp stools to watch from the beach. Some nice restaurants and a small grocery store we could walk to. A short drive from horseback riding, Playa Conchal, the Westin where we got day passes and an hour's drive from Tamarindo where we went shopping. Just as important, our hosts were very responsive to our needs in advance of our trip, and while we were there. Friendly, lovely people. We would definitely come again.

Our family loved the location of Casa Circa Del Mar, it is wonderful being so close to the beach and not having to drive all the time . We also enjoyed the pool so much and had many wonderful meals outside on the Veranda . The house was amazing with so much space and has everything you need. The Host was very kind and always available and responsive. We were celebrating an 80th Birthday and she had decorations and candles for us which was very sweet.
