Very satisfied with the accommodation, a very nice, quiet, organized, clean place. With a spectacular view of the volcano. We'd love to come back. And the host was very helpful and collaborative at all times.

We stayed at Karen’s place for one night, and it lived up to all the descriptions. Although we didn’t have time for a longer stay, I believe the price was worth it for three people (one couple in a queen bed and one single person in a single bed). The only minor issue was the humidity inside the rooms, but it wasn’t a major problem since we were there for less than a day. Perhaps opening the windows and doors could help mitigate this. Aside from that, the BBQ, jacuzzi, Netflix TV, and cozy common areas made it a great place to stay.

Yeah we have space up to 8 ppl, in the Main bedroom: 2 persons on the queen size bed + 1 person or kid on the sofa bed and in the secondary bedroom: 2 personas on the double size bed, 1 person or kid on the sofa bed and 2 persons on the double size air american air mattress, so we can configúrate the house depending on how many people are coming and how they wanna accommodate we are flexible on that! Yeah i am sorry about the humidity you know it is a tropical area and these past weeks has been raining a lot so we got a little humidity but we work it out just opening the window and so as you say! Thank you for your visit and welcome you back anytime you want!

Everything was perfect until the owner "kito" tried texting my girlfriend after our stay. I told him he could text me and not her for information but he still decided to text her. (All of this through Whats App). He first started by asking questions related to the airbnb but then started asking her stuff like if she was a "beach girl or mountain girl" and saying she was a "nice girl and nice to talk to". At this point me and my girl felt uncomfortable as it's been a week since we left and he has no business contacting us outside of the app.

Thank you Thiago for your Review, I am so sorry about the issue and so pity that you misunderstood what really happened. So I m just gonna make some of the things you said clear: 1) He is not the owner just to begin. 2) I checked on every msj here and on his what’s app and you Never asked or prohibited to write to her number (she is the one who wrote first on the page and she said she got a problem with her profile so you will make the reservation for her). She said we can send the information to you and that’s what he did at the beginning. 3) He got her whats app number because you run out of your cellphone battery and you called him to ask for the instructions of check in and he kindly sent them again to her number (since you called him from her number). 4) I explained to you already that he is always trying to be friendly and care about the guests after they left the house (we are not just a regular host that just care about the business), so most of time he asks the guests if they arrived in good shape to their countries or homes, or if they make it to the next spot and how was their trip in Costa Rica and so on, so that’s what he did on you guys too, so he asked if you went to the beach or any other area and so on that’s why he asked about if the is into beaches or mountain so he can give you any recommendations about it and i saw on the msgs he gave you some of them. Actually I asked him to apologies to you in Spanish and i saw he did and explained to you that all is a misunderstanding, he even showed you some proofs that he does care about host after they leave the house and ask kind of the same questions), and most of guests loves that he is so caring about their way back home and give them so other advise for next trip (even host are gonna be in other area and renting another spot). And yeah he told me that you and your girl were nice guests and easy going and nice to talk to, so I see nothing wrong in all the messages I read but kindness that you are maybe confusing (and he and myself have already apologized for). 5) Yeah I agree with you that is not normal that a host is asking for how was your trip or how you make it home at the end and what other places you will like to visit in the future so he can give you any advice, because as I explained we are not just caring about having reservations but we really do care for our guests and so he did it in a nice and kind way (other past guests have even mentioned that they are so grateful that he follow up on their trip or their way home), but yeah that was that mistake that he didn’t know that you wont like him to ask about how you ended your trip here or so after you left the house, and I am sorry for that again. 6) At the end you gave me the lowest rate I ever had and you can read all the reviews here and see never ever anybody say anything wrong about him or our treat but you, now you affected my host rate even though we both explained and apologized to you about the miss-understanding, thank you for that, blessings!
