Casa Guayaba is a cozy family home in Malinalco, ideal for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The property accommodates up to 6 guests and includes a heated pool, jacuzzi, and gardens.

Grill

The property has a high-quality grill, ideal for preparing and enjoying outdoor meals.

Heated Pool

The pool is naturally heated with solar panels. During colder months, the gas heater can be used for additional comfort.

• Payment can be made in advance or directly to the caretaker upon arrival

The fee covers only the actual gas consumption and includes no additional charges. The final cost may vary depending on weather conditions and the desired temperature.

Pets

Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome. Pets may not enter the pool or go on the beds or sofas.

Wi-Fi

The internet is fast and reliable, making it suitable for remote work. Because the property is in a natural setting, occasional power outages may occur, although they are not frequent.

Natural Setting

The house is located in the countryside, approximately 5 minutes from the town of Malinalco. The property is treated regularly, but its natural surroundings mean that guests may occasionally encounter insects, arachnids, or other harmless animals.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the house and its 3,000-square-meter garden, providing comfort and privacy throughout their stay.

Casa Guayaba is located next to Casa Los Ángeles, which has the same ownership. Each property has its own private entrance and completely independent spaces, with an exclusive garden for each home.

Both properties may be rented together for larger groups.

Privacy and Nearby Shared Areas

Casa Guayaba is not shared with other guests. The house and gardens are exclusively available to you and your group.

The property is adjacent to other homes in the collection, including Casa Los Ángeles, Limoncito, and Panchito. Each home has an independent entrance and full privacy. Guests are kindly asked to respect the boundaries between properties.

Approximately 5 minutes away within the property, there is a shared private area for guests with a small playground for children up to 10 years old.

Approximately 3 minutes farther away, a special space for meals or picnics is available by prior reservation and for an additional fee.

Visitors and Gatherings

Parties and weddings are not permitted.

Up to 6 additional visitors may be hosted between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM for meals or gatherings. Outdoor music after 10:00 PM and personal sound systems are not allowed.

Visitors are welcome from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Additional staff may be required in some cases to ensure a comfortable and well-attended experience.

If your group is larger, assistance with additional accommodation in the villas or nearby hotels in Malinalco may be available.

Number of Guests

The reservation should reflect the actual number of guests staying at the property. This helps ensure proper service, comfort, and maintenance of the home.

If the number of guests exceeds the number listed in the reservation, an additional fee will apply for each extra guest. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, including children aged 2 and older, additional guests will not be permitted access. Nearby accommodation options may be suggested instead.

Caretaker and Additional Staff

The caretaker visits the property a couple of times each day to maintain the pool and gardens. Guests seeking a stay without staff presence are kindly asked to consider this before booking.

Staff service is not included in the rental. Additional support can be arranged for approximately $600 MXN per day, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This service is paid for directly.

The Airbnb cleaning fee covers cleaning after check-out only and does not include cleaning services during the stay.

Grocery Service

Grocery shopping assistance can be requested before arrival or during the stay:

• Malinalco market, pharmacy, and convenience stores: $200 MXN
• Tenancingo, including Chedraui: $400 MXN

The caretaker uses the property’s pickup truck for this service.

• Loto: 2 double beds

Cancellation Policy

Casa Guayaba follows the cancellation policies established on its Airbnb profile. Guests are encouraged to review the policy carefully before changing or canceling a reservation.

• Full refund for cancellations made 30 or more days before check-in
• 50% refund for cancellations made between 7 and 30 days before check-in
• No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in

The same policy applies to date changes, which are treated as a cancellation followed by a new reservation.
