From the private patio, enjoy expansive views of the coastline, mountains, and ocean, including the distinctive rocks of Las Catalinas and Playa Zapotal. Howler monkeys are commonly heard in the mornings.

Getting There
A car is strongly recommended, as Uber service is not reliable in this area.
The property is easy to locate using Google Maps. Reaching the villa involves a short “pura vida” adventure along a 3-kilometer mountain road that is partially unpaved. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended but not required. The drive takes less than 10 minutes, and some bumps are to be expected as part of the journey to this secluded retreat.
Important Information
There are steep drop-offs around the property because it is located on a mountain. The setting may not be suitable for small children.

Everything was perfect, the house, kitchen equipment, the pool and the beautiful views! Beds were really comfy. The only thing to note is that, the ride up to the villa can be a bit rocky so be prepared. Overall I would 100% recommend this place!

The view is quite impressive. All photos of the place are accurate. It was my brother's wife's first time in Costa Rica and she was fascinated. I would definitely go back.

Our best experience on Airbnb! Watching the sun set over the ocean was magical. We loved having the privacy and peaceful setting while still being only about 10 minutes from town. The property is modern, stylish, and very tastefully designed. It’s also perfect for groups since everyone can have their own space and even their own kitchen. This has definitely become our new vacation spot, and we can’t wait to come back!

A very good place with an excellent view. Some details that should be improved, considering how new the house is. For example, I tried to use the broom and it broke in half. I sat on the chairs upstairs and they broke, which is why I fell. I lowered the blinds in the rooms of the main house and they were loose. Everything else was excellent.

Had a great stay at Michael’s place. Beautiful views and isolated at the top of the mountain. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. For a large group it would very convenient as there are separate private rooms and the main house has a great space to get together. Would highly recommend Michael’s place!

The property needs a bit of maintenance despite being relatively new. The hosts were nice and quick to respond. The house has a spectacular view!

Excellent place, beautiful. Every sunset from the pool and terrace is worth it. We were looking for a place to enjoy and relax, and we found it. Andrés was always attentive in responding to our questions. My family loved the place, and we will certainly consider coming back again.

I love how quick the host responds …so you’re never left to handle anything on your own. Views were breathtaking especially in the morning and when the sun sets. Beach is 7 minute ride
