The views lives up to its name. Was a beautiful location close to some great restaurants and lots of fun activities. Cathleen, from Explore Uvita, who they recommended was awesome. She made setting up our excursions super easy as well!

Stunning location, setting and view from the property—it’s postcard worthy! Lovely outdoor area, perfect pool for cooling down, sound of waves breaking on the beach below. Well appointed, but do consider bringing staples (or message the host to see what guests left behind). Bring conditioner if you have long hair—what's supplied is S&C combo. Our only issue was the uncomfortably (and perpetually) hot main living area, due to lack of AC. We prefer to spend our time outdoors, and we love the hot weather—but during the hottest times of day and/or if we wanted to play cards or watch a movie at night, we were unable spend time together indoors—everyone retreated to the bedrooms (which thankfully had AC). Note: I knew there was no AC in the living area prior to booking. There was little to no breeze during our time, so perhaps when there’s ample breeze, the space cools more effectively due to big sliders? Likely not an issue for everyone, but good to be aware of the possibility. Pura Vida!

This Airbnb was absolutely spotless. The pool was clean and was warm from the sun. A/C in the bedrooms was very much appreciated. Only downside was that the driveway is extremely steep and there were a couple times where security guards walked up on the pool deck to check on the place if the car was gone. We still had other guests in the Airbnb so that was a little uncomfortable although we know that the security guards were just doing their job. Overall we would come back again.

What a beautiful place. We had a lovely & relaxing stay. Jerome was a super host and was very flexible with all our requests. We stayed 9 nights and couldn’t be happier with the choice we made. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful villa! So many wonderful things to do close by, from relaxing on the balcony or beach to experiencing the rainforest in the dark with a night hike, surfing, exhilarating white water rafting or ATV tour! Jerome includes a concierge service to help you plan your perfect Costa Rican experience. He also gave us a list of restaurants to check out. Yes, as in other reviews the driveway isn’t for the faint of heart but it is doable. Overall our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to go back!! Pura Vida

The house is glorious. Photos are representative of the house,views, amenities. Would not hesitate to book again. The house/pool get weekly clean, which is very helpful. Jerome was very responsive from the moment of booking and throughout the stay. He was a great resource to book to and from transportation-airport/villa/house, a car locally, private chef (highly recommended), provided an activity agent (who was a great asset, and extremely helpful in reviewing activities and confirming times, etc), and restaurants. A few things to note: 1. as others have noted, the driveway is a bit scary, but totally doable once you get over your fear. 2. the house is extremely well designed to allow for airflow to keep the house cool…when there is wind. No wind=very hot. We had no wind all week, but made the trip more authentically Costa Rican! 3.Maintenance crew can come at any time during your stay. Jerome communicates, but can be at undesirable times 4.Really missed a dishwasher Pura Vida!

This villa was perfect for our family vacation (7 people). The location was wonderful: close to towns, adventures, and nature! We walked to the beach several times with no issues. The cafe at the entrance to the villa was beautiful and delicious. The place had all the amenities one could need: a beautiful pool, air conditioned bedrooms, a fully appointed kitchen (we made meals and had a private chef one night), gated/safe community. Yes, the driveway is steep, but once you get the handle of it, it was totally fine. Thanks Jerome!
