The Space

Please note that the home is currently being remodeled, and the listing photos have not yet been updated to reflect the new layout. The area shown as parking in some current photos has been converted into Bedroom 4, which includes two queen beds and a private ensuite bathroom. Updated photos will be added once the remodeling is complete.

The living room also includes a sofa bed for additional sleeping space.

All bedrooms have air conditioning and blackout curtains. The living room and kitchen do not have air conditioning, although they are generally comfortable because of Boquete’s cooler mountain climate.

All four bedrooms and the living room have Smart TVs. The living room television also includes cable service.

The property has a private gated entrance and self check-in.

Designated parking for two cars is available at the top of the driveway. Additional parking may be available along the driveway if needed.

Because this is also a privately owned family home, certain cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and personal belongings are reserved for the owner. These areas and items will be clearly marked “Private” or “Do Not Touch” and are not included in the rental.

Stairs and Accessibility

This is a multi-level mountain home with stairs leading to the main entrance and between different areas of the property. Bedroom 4 is located at street level and has its own direct entrance. Overall, the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Mountain Environment

Being surrounded by nature is part of Boquete’s charm. Insects, spiders, scorpions, and other local wildlife may occasionally be encountered, even with regular professional cleaning and pest-control treatments. We recommend keeping doors and windows closed or using the provided window screens.

Neighborhood and Noise

The home feels peaceful and private, but neighbors are nearby. Parties, events, and excessive noise are not permitted. Please keep noise at a respectful level, particularly during the evening and early morning.

Driving

The road to the property is paved, and a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not required. However, the driveway is steep, so very low-clearance vehicles should use extra caution. Some mountain roads have limited lighting at night, so please drive carefully after dark.

Power Outages

Power interruptions are relatively common in Boquete. The house is equipped with a full-house automatic backup generator. After a power interruption, the air-conditioning units may take a few minutes to restart. This is normal.

Security Cameras

For added security, exterior cameras monitor outdoor areas and access points. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

Starter Supplies

Starter quantities of the following are provided:

• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Shower gel
• Hand soap
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Laundry detergent

Each bathroom is initially stocked with at least two rolls of toilet paper. Starter supplies are not replenished during the stay.

Cooking Ingredients

The kitchen includes cookware and dinnerware. Food and cooking ingredients, including salt, pepper, and cooking oil, are not provided.

Barbecue and Fire Pit

Complimentary charcoal for the barbecue and firewood for the fire pit are generally provided when available. These are shared courtesy supplies between guests, so availability cannot be guaranteed. If you use the available supplies, we appreciate you replacing them for the next guests.

1. Are towels provided?

Yes. We provide two bath towels per registered guest, plus one additional bath towel per guest for use with the hot tub.

Each full bathroom also includes:

• One hand towel
• Two face towels

2. Are bed linens and bedding provided?

Yes. All beds are prepared before arrival. Each bed includes:

• Mattress protector
• Fitted sheet
• Duvet with a clean duvet cover
• Pillows with pillow protectors

3. Is the tap water safe to drink?

Yes. The tap water is potable and passes through the home’s filtration system.

Because the water comes from the mountain, it may occasionally appear slightly brown for the first few seconds after a faucet or shower has not been used for an extended period. This is caused by natural sediment. Simply let the water run briefly until it clears.

4. Is hot water available?

Yes. Hot water is available throughout the home.

5. Does the house have air conditioning?

Yes. All four bedrooms have air conditioning and blackout curtains. The living room and kitchen do not have air conditioning. Boquete’s mountain climate is generally much cooler than Panama City.

6. Are there televisions?

Yes. All four bedrooms and the living room have Smart TVs. The living room television also includes cable service.

7. Is the hot tub private?

Yes. The hot tub is private and exclusively for registered guests staying at the property.

8. Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the home and is suitable for streaming, video calls, and remote work.

9. Is there a washer and dryer?

Yes. A washer/dryer is designated for guest use. Laundry detergent, an iron, and an ironing board are also provided. A second washer/dryer is reserved for the owner’s private use.

10. Is housekeeping available during the stay?

Yes. Additional housekeeping can be arranged upon request and subject to availability.

• $70 per day when booking three or more cleaning days

We recommend requesting housekeeping in advance so we can coordinate with the cleaning team.

11. Is the house pet-friendly?

Yes. Pets are welcome with prior approval. Please include your pet in the reservation or contact us before booking.

12. Is late checkout available?

Late checkout until 12:00 PM may be available for $150, subject to availability, and must be reserved in advance.

Checkout after 12:00 PM requires booking an additional night.

13. What is the closest airport?

The closest airport is Enrique Malek International Airport (DAV) in David, approximately 45 minutes from the house.

Rental cars are available at the airport. Uber and inDrive are also available. Rides from the airport to the house typically cost around $20–$25, depending on availability and demand.

14. Do I need a car?

We highly recommend having a car during your stay. Downtown Boquete is approximately 13 minutes away by car. Uber operates in the area, but availability can be limited. inDrive generally has better availability.

15. Do I need a four-wheel-drive vehicle?

No. The road to the property is paved, and a four-wheel-drive vehicle is not required. Please keep in mind that the driveway itself is steep.

16. Is parking available?

Yes. The property has a private gated entrance with designated uncovered parking for up to two vehicles. Additional parking may also be available along the driveway if needed.

17. Is there anywhere to eat within walking distance?

Yes. Café Mirador Crystal is a three-minute walk from the house. It is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and serves breakfast, coffee, and light meals, making it a convenient option when you do not feel like driving into town.
