Our family stayed here for a month for a mix of remote work and vacation. The location was wonderful—away from the crowds but a quick drive into San Jose. Amazing view! It's possible to walk down to Acapulquito beach, be we usually drove 5 min over to Palmilla for better swimming. Well equipped kitchen. Nice pool and spa. Good enough internet for a Zoom call.

Property manager Felipe is very responsive and friendly.

As some other reviewers commented, there's definitely highway noise when you're outside, especially from truck engine brakes. Wouldn't keep us from going back, but it is something to be aware of if you're looking for tranquility outside.

Bob’s Querencia villa has the best view in all of Los Cabos. Easy checkin process, property manager is very helpful and accommodating. Great location for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend this home.

Great home- very spacious and nice... amazing views of the ocean- we could see whales jumping from the pool. Heaven!

Great space, loved the openness of the house! Breath taking views.. Pool was amazing, spent the entire time outside. Liked the security of a gated community, located close to everything.

Perfect space for couples or families, with a separate apartment included. Kitchen has Viking appliances through out. Master bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and huge bathroom, with sliding glass doors, where you can watch the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez. Great fire pit and outdoor shower.

Fantastic house with amazing view and everything we needed. Pool and hot tub enjoy the view. Close to San Jose and convenient access to highway to resorts and Cabo. We enjoyed a wonderful week.

Villa Vista Del Mar was awesome! Completely as advertised and a perfect retreat for families or a group of adults. Amenities galore and everything you will need is stocked well. The infinity pool was perfect and provided a great vantage point to take in the expansive ocean views. Will definitely book this up-scale house for my next trip to San Jose Del Cabo.

We had a great stay at Bobs place. The location and house were amazing. It was exactly like the photos. Very spacious with a magnificent master bedroom. The traffic noise that people talk about can be drowned out by the sounds of the waterfall from the hot tub to the pool and the outdoor speakers. A little traffic noise is nothing when you are at a beautiful house, sitting at your own swim up bar looking over the magnificent sea of Cortez. Very glad we stayed there!

We had a great stay at Villa Vista Del Mar. The home was beautiful and just as presented in the listing. The pool was fantastic and the views were spectacular. We enjoyed grilling and eating outside most days but the kitchen was plenty large enough to cook for the whole group. The highway noise some mentioned previously was a nonissue for us, you couldn't hear it at all once inside and the view made up for any noise you heard outside. We used the golf cart multiple times to travel to the small surfing beach through the tunnel under the highway which worked out great. The community is absolutely gorgeous and the staff was more than welcoming. Both Bob and Felipe (manager) stopped by when we arrived to make sure everything was taken care of and to show us how to work the pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. It honestly couldn't have been a better trip. Thanks Bob!

All eight of us had a fantastic time at the Villa Vista del Mar. The accommodations provided privacy for everyone and outstanding common entertainment space. The saline pool and hot tub are glorious any time of day. Querencia is a special place and everyone there has a genuine smile. The surf beach accessed by the easy to get to tunnel is great for watching the surfers. You can walk around the rock to the north and hit a longer stretch of beach for swimming and go to beach side Zippers that has live music and good food. Palmilla beach is a must for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking and SUPing. You can walk to it during low tide, but it is a less than 5 min drive and they have parking. Senor Martin and Felipe will take care of your every query and need and are very accessible. We drove to La Paz for a boat trip to explore the East Cape area and north of that...and to go to the sea lion colony which I recommend if you have the time and want to swim with these friendly creatures, it's about 2.5 hours one way, but the drive is easy and scenic. I had the best time of my life during our stay. Salud.

Bob was great and accommodating. Very responsive. The house is amazing. Great views. Very good location by great surf. The casita is basically like a separate condo on the property. Would highly recommend.

Went for a week with my family in early Feb. Location is great (outside of San Jose, above the Cabo Surf Hotel, easy to find and easy to get in and out). Accommodations were wonderful, and Bob was a gracious host to a first time airbnb-er who had a lot of questions. We will definitely visit again and have recommended this place to our friends.

One thing worth planning for (and mentioned by other reviewers) is the internet connection. Bob provides a laptop that has a 3g modem attached, but both are too slow for anything other than limited browsing and email checking. If high speed internet is important, plan on providing your own access. Having said that, it encouraged me to spend more time in the pool!
