The condo is fully furnished and equipped with all essential appliances, kitchenware, linens, cable TV, WiFi, air conditioning, and comfortable furniture. The bathrooms have been recently updated. A small back terrace with a propane barbecue is available for your use.
Sueños II is a small community featuring 22 townhouse-style units, well-kept grounds, and free parking adjacent to the property. This unit faces the shared pool directly outside the front door.
The main floor features an open-concept living room and kitchen. The living area includes spacious, comfortable seating and screened windows that allow fresh air to circulate. A flat-screen TV with cable and dedicated WiFi are provided throughout the unit.
The kitchen, recently renovated with teak cabinetry and a breakfast bar, is fully stocked for cooking and dining at home. In addition to the refrigerator and stove, there is a dishwasher for convenience. Small appliances include:
Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry room with ample pantry space, a washer, and a dryer. A half bathroom on the main floor is perfect for quick trips from the pool.
Upstairs, both bedrooms offer comfortable beds, private full bathrooms with hot showers, individual air conditioners, and overhead fans for personalized comfort. The master bedroom is bright and airy, featuring balcony doors that open to a Juliet balcony, allowing a pleasant breeze. It includes a pillow-top king-sized bed and floor-to-ceiling closets with a safe for your valuables.
The second bedroom contains a queen bed and a large wardrobe for storage. Extra sheets and towels are stored in both bedroom closets. An iron is also available, although bathing suits tend to dry well on their own.
The gated complex is locked from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Guests receive a gate key upon arrival. For late arrivals, instructions for a lockbox to access the key will be provided. Lost keys incur a $25 replacement fee.
The unit uses a unique access code that changes with each guest and will be shared before your arrival. Guests are welcome to use anything in the unit, including condiments, oils, and spices. If you have unopened food left at checkout, please leave it for the cleaning staff rather than discarding it.
Access to the owner’s locked storage within the unit is not permitted.
To promote environmentally responsible use of air conditioning, stays longer than four weeks include a maximum electricity allowance of 700 kWh (approximately US$150). Any usage beyond this will be charged to guests. This amount is sufficient for reasonable use of air conditioning and the dryer.
Please do not flush toilet paper. Due to the widespread use of septic systems in Costa Rica, toilet paper must be disposed of in the trash.
Guanacaste Province experiences drought conditions from December through April. The water company may implement rolling shutoffs to conserve water. This property has a dedicated backup holding tank for such times. Guests are encouraged to conserve water by turning off faucets when not in use, reusing towels, avoiding washing small loads, and reporting leaks or running toilets promptly.
Power and internet outages can occasionally occur. Your patience is appreciated as service is restored.
As a tropical location, occasional insects such as ants may be present indoors. If you notice a significant number of ants inside, please notify us so we can place ant traps. Outdoor ants play an important role in the environment and should be left undisturbed.
Cockroaches are also common in Costa Rica. Their presence indoors does not indicate poor cleanliness or infestation, as they are solitary and not social like North American species. Cockroach spray is available on the property, or you may handle them as you prefer. Please avoid leaving food or garbage outside, as raccoons and skunks in the area may disturb trash bins.
