4BR Villa in Barú

Staying at the house was a dream. We will most definitely return whenever we are in Cartagena. We are very happy with the home, the warm and welcoming environment from staff which enabled us the ability to come together and share some quality time. Ivan’s home is beautiful. We enjoyed the ambiance, the wildlife and cats most of all! Ivan and the staff are super attentive, flexible and accommodating.

I went with my family, an excellent plan for children, the house is spectacular, very well equipped, comfortable and beautiful, 5 stars. The staff who served us 10/10 and our host Ivan was great!!!!!! Thank you and we will definitely be back soon

We had a wonderful stay at Barola House. Ivan was always responsive, kind, and helpful. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures, and the architecture of the house is truly beautiful — it has a great energy that makes you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. The staff was incredible and made us feel very well taken care of. We brought our own ingredients, and Constanza cooked absolutely delicious meals for us — everything was amazing. Samir helped with everything else we needed. While other parts of Islas del Rosario are quite busy, this place is quiet, private, and perfect for resting and disconnecting. The community area is super comfortable and ideal for relaxing. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back!

The home was beautiful and one with nature with an open air living room and kitchen. The home was fully equipped and we had everything we needed. Samir and Costanza helped around the house and are genuinely amazing people. It's clear that everyone is aiming to ensure their guests have a pleasant and memorable stay. The location is very private. We did not have a car but Ivan coordinated a transfer from Cartagena to the home, a local boat trip, and Samir coordinated a transfer to the Aviary National Park, which is a must do for seeing all types of birds. The community pool was perfect with cabanas to take naps. The only thing missing to make this place perfect is crystal clear/blue water but we knew that when we rented it. Highly recommend booking with Ivan. He's the best communicator we've dealt with on AirBNB. We were 2 adults and 3 children. We very much enjoyed our time, the home pool and community pool, local activities, and peaceful nature of the home.

An unforgettable experience. The house achieves a harmonious balance between nature and modernity: its architectural design respects the natural environment and, at the same time, offers comfort and style in every corner. The spaces are intelligently distributed, the ventilation is excellent, and the decoration has been carefully thought out, with very tasteful details. The service team deserves a special mention. Their service was impeccable: always kind, attentive and willing to take care of every detail with professionalism and warmth. Heartfelt thanks to Constanza, Samir, Chef Libardo and Luis who made our stay not only comfortable and safe but also deeply enjoyable. It's definitely a place we plan to go back to.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The house completely exceeded our expectations, it is as shown in the photos and allowed us to spend some incredible days in Baru. Ivan and his team were very friendly and always willing to help and make us feel at home. The service was respectful and warm, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The chef and collaborator is an experience we recommend👍🏽. It's definitely a reliable, high-quality accommodation. We recommend it 100% and would definitely come back in the future.

Ivan is a super Host, very attentive and was always available. The house was even nicer in person. The staff was very kind. Food was excellent and Lucho the Barman gave us an exceptional service. The place is very peaceful and you have a lot of amenities.
