The Home

Treetops spans four open-air levels connected by breezeways that overlook the central courtyard and gardens. Each room opens to expansive views of the Caribbean Sea and Roatán’s lush hills.

Lower Ground Level

A private garden path leads to a secluded suite with:

• Queen bed
• Rain shower
• Mini refrigerator
• Coffee and tea station
• Jungle views

This suite is ideal for guests seeking additional quiet and privacy.

Main Level

Enter through Treetops’ signature breezeway into an inviting open-air lounge with a daybed and sweeping sea views. The fully updated kitchen is stocked with modern appliances and opens onto a colorful dining and living area.

French doors lead outside to the fountain, gardens, plunge pool, and pagoda. This level also includes a twin bedroom that can be converted to a king bed, along with a cozy window seat and jungle views.

Upper Level

The primary suite includes:

• Walk-in closet
• Spacious bathroom
• Jetted tub
• Open-air shower

Across the breezeway, another guest suite features a private deck and an open-air rain shower overlooking the jungle.

Top Level: The Watchtower

Climb to the Watchtower for unobstructed 360-degree views of Roatán’s vibrant jungle and sparkling sea. It is a peaceful spot for morning coffee, stargazing, or sunset cocktails.

Beach and Location

A secluded beach is located a short walk down the road. Its shallow swimming areas are protected by mangroves, making it well suited for snorkeling or relaxing in the water.

Treetops is situated in the peaceful Brick Bay community, centrally located between French Harbor and Coxen Hole. Groceries, banks, shops, and restaurants are only a few minutes away. West End and West Bay beaches are approximately a 20- to 25-minute drive along the island’s north shore.

The property offers a variety of ways to enjoy Roatán, from relaxing beside the hummingbird fountain and gathering in the open-air living room to exploring the island’s culture and marine life.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire house and property, including the garden, private beach area, and roped-off ocean swimming area.

The beach is an easy five-minute walk from the house:

1. At the bottom of the driveway, turn left and continue to the fork.
2. Follow the path and signs to Curación Beach Resort.

The beach is private, with access limited to hotel guests and people living or staying in the community. It offers excellent swimming and snorkeling areas. Water shoes are recommended when wading farther into the water for snorkeling.

• A cleaning service is provided weekly or daily upon request.
• A gardener visits twice per week.
• Cleaning and gardening services are included in the cost of the stay and can be removed or modified upon request.

• Snorkeling equipment is provided.
• Guests can enjoy cozy throw blankets, board games, puzzles, a Sonos sound system, and books.
• Dinnerware and glassware are available to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.

Additional Details

Climate Control

All guest rooms have air conditioning. The home is also designed with screened windows and doors, ceiling fans, and breezeways to keep the rooms cool and comfortable throughout the year.

Drinking Water

Filtered water is available throughout the house. A bottled-water cooler in the kitchen provides additional drinking water.

Wi-Fi

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Security

Treetops is located within a small private enclave in Brick Bay, accessed by a single road from the main highway in Roatán. The entrance gate is staffed 24 hours a day, and the property itself has a security system.

Television

A 32-inch smart television with cable is located in the primary suite’s armoire. It can be moved to another room upon request.

Children and the Property

Because of the home’s open design and its collection of art and antiques, guests are kindly asked to supervise children under 12 years old while staying at the property.
