The Space
Set within the prestigious Reserva de Golf community at Hacienda Pinilla, Casa Kailua is a two-level villa designed for relaxed tropical living and attentive, resort-style service. The private pool is located just beyond the open-plan living areas, while the Pacific coast is only minutes away. Each day can begin with breakfast prepared in the comfort of your own home.
Designed for large groups and multigenerational or multifamily getaways, the villa features two spacious levels and an open-concept layout that connects the interior with the outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in abundant natural light, and the outdoor patio extends the living space with:

Ceiling fans and air conditioning help keep the villa comfortable throughout the day. A dedicated workspace and high-speed Wi-Fi are also available for guests who need to stay connected.

Seven bedrooms accommodate groups of 16 or more across nine beds. Each bedroom includes an en suite bathroom for added privacy and convenience.

- Cocktail and snack preparation until 2:00 p.m.; groceries are supplied by the guest
- Daily housekeeping and laundry
- A dedicated personal concierge to assist with reservations, activities, and local recommendations

Optional Service Upgrade
Elite Service Premium
For a minimum of 10 guests and a stay of at least 5 nights, upgrade your stay for $29 per person per day, plus taxes. Elite Service Premium includes:
- Authentic Costa Rican breakfast from Monday through Saturday; groceries included
- Round-trip private airport transportation to and from LIR
- One traditional Costa Rican dinner as part of a local culinary experience

We booked Casa Kailua for my husband's birthday trip with a group of 11, and it exceeded every expectation. The villa is huge and absolutely stunning, offering plenty of space for everyone to relax. We spent most of our time at the pristine pool, which was perfection. What truly elevated our experience was our house mom, Meredith. She cooked amazing meals daily, handled the laundry and dishes, and kept our rooms spotless—making our stay completely effortless. The property is such a perfect luxury getaway that most days we didn't even want to leave. Having individually controllable AC in every room was a fantastic bonus. The location was a 20-minute drive to Tamarindo, and close to the JW Marriott Beach Club and pools (also beautiful). Communication was consistently great with booking and planning thanks to Giulia. Overall 10/10, everyone was happy!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The Airbnb was even more beautiful in person clean, comfortable, and everything we could have hoped for during our trip to Costa Rica. 🇨🇷🌴 The staff was incredible from beginning to end. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The hospitality truly made the experience even more special. The property itself was gorgeous, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy Costa Rica. We felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The property was even better than we expected, beautiful, spacious, well maintained, and perfect for our group. The location in Hacienda Pinilla was excellent. We loved being in a private, upscale community while still having easy access to Tamarindo, the beach, restaurants, golf, and everything we wanted to do during the trip. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. From helping with meals and keeping the house in great shape to assisting with transportation and activities, they made the entire trip feel effortless. The house gave everyone plenty of space and privacy, while the common areas and pool were perfect for spending time together. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Costa Rica and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this property and the team behind it! 🇨🇷🌴

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Casa Kailua for our group of 15. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was exactly as described—beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean, and comfortably accommodated our entire group. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, including our concierge Giulia who was very responsive, helped us plan and coordinate all of our activities and ensured we had everything we needed. Our house mom Carolina took care of us every day with breakfast, drinks and snacks, all while keeping the home in pristine condition. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our trip completely stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our group vacation and look forward to returning. The villa and the staff were amazing! Renzo was easy to work with. He reached out multiple times prior to check in to help out with scheduling a chef and excursions. We scheduled Chef Juan for our arrival dinner and it delicious and well worth it. The daily housekeeper made a delicious breakfast everyday and was very accommodating to our schedule. The house has everything you need and is well stocked. The outdoor space and pool were perfect. The house overall has plenty of space for 14 people. Close proximity to Tamarindo. The access to beaches, clubhouse pool, gym etc in the community are a nice bonus. Highly recommend the villa!

The house is beautiful, large, and clean, exactly as shown in the photos; however, when we arrived, the house was not ready, and we had to wait outside with our babies. The cleaning lady was a bit rude, and on the day of check-out, they were cleaning the house starting at 7:00 a.m.; they took our belongings out of the rooms and locked the bathrooms and bedrooms so that no one else could enter. 🙄

The house exceeded our expectations, it has everything you need and more. Excellent kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, very spacious, pleasant and comfortable spaces. The pool is crazy. The ice maker surprised us. A highlight is the excellent and cordial service from the manager. We would have liked to stay longer, so we'll have to come back!
