Location
Nosara Blue is situated in the heart of Playa Pelada, just a short walk from the beach. Here, you can spend your days surfing, sunbathing, and relaxing on the soft sand. The area offers numerous shops where you can purchase groceries to prepare meals at home and enjoy a barbecue with a refreshing drink. Alternatively, you can explore the local restaurants for an evening out with entertainment.
The Space
Our property is located on the main strip between Hotel El Ramal and El Chivo, making it an ideal spot for families with children or groups of friends seeking a getaway. The estate features two separate homes, which can be booked together for larger gatherings such as family reunions, holiday vacations, or corporate team-building events.
Each home has a two-story design showcasing beautiful teak ceilings, LED recessed lighting, polished cement floors and walls, and granite countertops. The shared swimming pool is mosaic-tiled and includes a waterfall feature, accessible to guests of both homes.
We are happy to assist with arranging various activities including sunset beach horseback rides, ATV tours, fishing trips, private chef services, cooking classes, and more. Please inquire about these options when booking.

- There are five dogs residing on the property. If you are uncomfortable around dogs, this location may not be suitable.
- Nearby construction is currently ongoing.
- Power outages are common throughout Costa Rica and may cause temporary interruptions to electricity, Wi-Fi, and water or hot water supply.
- If uninterrupted Wi-Fi is critical, we recommend purchasing a Solis international hotspot.

Highly recommend staying here! Great location, pool is fantastic, the dogs are top notch dogs, and the host is very communicative. Added bonus of the yoga classes! We didn’t want to leave!

This was a perfect place for our family to stay while in Nosara. Easily walkable to great Playa Pelada & Restaurants, a quick Tuk-Tuk ride or walk through the jungle path to the Playa Guiones beach, and we loved the pool on site. Wish we had taken advantage of the yoga classes. The dogs were lovely and were one of the highlights for our kids. On-site housekeeping and security, clean, and comfortable.

Very comfortable place! Easy walk to the beaches and a few restaurants. Longer walk or short drive to Guiones and the restaurants there. Nosara is not cheap, but the vibe in the town and this place is very pleasant. The onsite staff were excellent.

the host was very good at responding. the place was modern . They had a ground keeper (didnt speak english) but helpful. We had issues locking the sliding doors at night since one lock didnt work and the second lock would come loose if you wiggled the handle on the 2 door sliding doors . The owner said they will fix that and the ground keeper screwed down some screws on the rails to permanently lock the sliding doors. You will need to bring towels for the beach since there is only shower towel. There wasnt a coffee station so bring coffee and condiments. The Air conditioning works good in the rooms . The rooms upstairs need to have the doors closed to keep the rooms cold. There is a breakfast restaurant next door . Order from takeout section not to wait inline. There is another restaurant for dinner 500 ft further. At night the streets are not well lit so bring a flash light for each person in your party. The neighborhood felt safe . Its a 15 minute walk to the beach. Nice place.

Realmente disfrutamos de unos días preciosos en familia. La casa es muy cómoda, la vegetación que rodea los espacios exteriores es hermosa. Los caseros (señores que cuidaban la casa) fueron muy atentos durante nuestra estadía. Tomamos clases de yoga en lugar único! Espero podamos volver.

We loved our stay at Nosara Blue! It was quiet, clean, secure, and within walking distance to Playa Pelada (plus, a great coffee/breakfast place right next door)! The 5 lovely dogs who live on the property were a special bonus. We would definitely stay again, and hope to be back soon!

Disfrutamos mucho en Casa Castro en Nosara Blue. El lugar tiene una ubicación muy conveniente, cerca de restaurantes y de Playa Pelada, donde se puede llegar caminando. La casa es muy cómoda y la piscina es agradable.

Excelente lugar, instalaciones cómodos y limpias. Tal como se ven en las fotos. Excelente ubicación. Puntos a mejorar: - La bomba de la piscina y luces no funcionaron el primer día, me lo solucionaron al siguiente día pero debieron indicarlo en su momento. Ya que no pudimos hacer uso ese día. - Refri olía mal, a pescado, por lo que no se podía guardar cosas porque se impregnaba en los alimentos, hielo y bebidas. En conclusión 4 de 5. 👌

We absolutely loved it here! Super cute little community where you can walk to everything! Felt super safe and the dogs were the best part of our experience. There’s also free yoga and surf boards to take out. Definitely worth the price thanks for the great stay!
