Merveilleux séjour dans cette grande maison, (chacun sa chambre!) à 2 min de la magnifique plage! Une chance que Fatima est juste à côté pour régler tous nos petits pépins (électricité, eau chaude) et nous aider à booker nos activités (balade à cheval!)

There was a big outdoor chess board which we enjoyed using. All sorts of birds visited the garden, the local capuchin troupe passed through, iguanas walked through the grass and bushes. Very interesting!

Nous sommes venu 1 mois avec nos deux enfants et avons passé un magnifique séjour. La maison est vraiment agréable, et le quartier très tranquille. Le tour de chevaux sont formidables et Fatima, qui gère notre accueil et séjour a été d’une aide et sympathie précieuse. Sont mari et elle-même nous on dépanner lors de soucis avec notre voiture et son intervenue dès que nous en avions besoin. Ils nous ont également trouvé une nounou qui a été adorable. Vous pouvez lui demander quoi que se soit et elle vous aidera au mieux possible. Merci à cette petite famille d’avoir fait de nos vacances, un vrai moment de bonheur!

This property's location (Playa Matapalo) is arguably one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. The setting feels secluded and tranquil, with monkeys and scarlet macaws often visible on the short walk to the beach, yet Dominical, Uvita and Quepos are close for dining, shopping, tourist activities and services. We spent a month here with our 7- and 9-year-olds, and they loved the pool and spotting wildlife every day. The Wi-Fi, AC, and washer/dryer made life easy, and Fatima, the property manager, was a dream—so kind and always available when we had questions. If you’re not an animal lover, know that the pets roam freely on the property, but for us, they added to the charm. There is a mini mart that's a 5-10 min walk from the house, with basic essentials and food. A larger Walmart-style grocery store is about 20 min drive away. Feel free to message me with questions if you're considering a stay! We absolutely loved the house and location.

The place is walkable to the beach and Fatima was a great host! The house has a great layout and the kids enjoyed the waterslide pool. Angel and his horses were a highlight of our trip.

This house is private and away from any crowds, yet a short drive to a large US style grocery store. The walk to the beach is so close you can hear the waves crashing at night in your bed. We woke up to Macaws, monkeys, parrots, iguanas, leaf cutter ants and many birds! We traveled with our children ages 14, 15 and 25. Our daughter walked to the private beach for yoga in the morning and the boys loved the pool, beach, hammock, and life-sized chess. My husband and I enjoyed coffee out back in the morning when the wildlife was ALIVE with sights and sounds of the true Costa Rica! Having space for our family to relax yet retreat to their own bedrooms for an afternoon siesta was perfect. The air-conditioning was very efficient and kept the house cool. The house was gated and secure with personnel on-site. Fatima and her family are the true gem of the home. Having her to help with questions was imperative and just an absolute treat. This home is a genuine home in Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

We loved our stay here and plan to come back again for a longer period. Fatima is great, and Monika and William were also wonderful. the house was perfect for us and as described in the ad the only thing to be aware of is the property is also shared by 4 townhomes which we were not aware of until we arrived. the other guests were not disruptive to our stay but it felt a little weird having others there when we expected private.

This is our 2nd visit and we love the location. Our favorite beach. Fatima is so sweet and helpful.
