Los Girasoles, New Family Homestay & Private Pool

Saw lizards, cockroach’s, and ants in the house. We stayed st 3 Airbnb’s during our trip. The this the only one that had the above in the house. On a positive the hosts was very helpful when we got a parking ticket on La Fortuna. We park on a street and ate a restaurant. Came out and had a ticket. Didn’t know you had to pay to park or we would have parked in the restaurant’s parking lot. After getting the ticket we looked around and found sign that was hidden by the trees saying you had to use an app and pay for parking. I asked the restaurant owner how to pay it and he didn’t know. Someone else told me it could t be paid locally snd I had to drive to San Carlos. The ticket wasn’t helpful as it was in Spanish. The host said he would do a little checking and found out if I downloaded the app I could pay the ticket on the app. That was a real help. I kept the rating as 4 instead of 3 because of this. Left negative feelings about the town tough.
