The Space
This private home sits on a spacious lot with mature plants and trees, offering plenty of privacy while remaining close to town, restaurants, and the Split.
The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings and a large, modern kitchen equipped with everything you need, including a water filtration system that reduces the need for bottled water. The bathroom includes a bidet and a beautiful rainfall shower for a spa-like experience.

Location
The home is close enough to reach town or the water easily on foot or by bicycle, yet it is situated away from the hustle and bustle for a peaceful vacation.
Guests arriving by small plane from the mainland will find the island airport just a short walk away, approximately 3–5 minutes from the house. Although the airport is nearby, the occasional small planes should not disturb your stay. The home is far enough away to avoid significant noise while still offering the opportunity to watch planes take off from the island as you relax on the balcony.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the house and its large, spacious lot with private gardens.
Bicycle Rentals
Bicycles are available to rent on-site for an additional fee of $25 US per bicycle for the duration of your stay.

Body soap and shampoo are not provided because guests have different preferences and needs, and avoiding these products helps reduce potential allergy concerns.

The bidet helps reduce paper waste, which is especially important because the island relies on a limited sewer system. Dishcloths and dish towels are also provided to reduce the need for paper towels.
Towels and Linens
Each registered guest will receive:
- One bath towel
- One hand towel
- One face cloth
- One beach towel
Limiting unnecessary linen use helps conserve the resources of Caye Caulker. A drying rack is available for use during your stay.
Linens are refreshed only for guests staying 7 days or longer. Guests staying fewer than 7 days may request fresh towels for a $20 US fee, payable when the towels are exchanged.

What a fabulous stay - the blue lotus is super comfortable and very well appointed and maintained. We can definitely recommend the stay very highly. There is plenty equipment in the kitchen to cook or to enjoy restaurants on the island. We did both. The house is some distance from the main part of town 15mins walk but actually this is perfect as there is no smell from the seaweed and no noise. While they do offer bikes - ideally it would be nice to have these complementary as many of the hotels adjacent to do- it would be my only constructive criticism. The house is very tidy and clean , the needing good quality , the maid can while we were there to refresh the towels and a little spruce up. The aircon is very welcoming ans the space perfect for us all. Loved our stay

Wifi worked great. Place was very clean and spacious. The walls don't come all the way to to the ceiling so now carries and if someone has a light on in any of the rooms it lights up the rest. Bike rental from the property was nice and a great price though the bikes are a little rusty. Great places to eat nearby.

We loved our stay at the Blue Lotus! It was spacious for a group of 4, super clean, and the property manager was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of towels & linens and the AC worked really well. The location is in a quiet area and right across from a yoga studio + brunch spot which we frequented. It is a further walk from "the rest of the island" in the heat. The only qualm I had was that although this is a 2 bedroom, the ceilings did not go all the way up so between the bedrooms and living room, we could hear everything!
