Additional Information
Ramona, the housekeeper, assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the home and the garden. While she is available to help with household questions (in Spanish) and guide you through the house’s features, she is not a personal maid. Guests are expected to do their own dishes and respect her role.
Guests are kindly asked to feed the two cats, Carola and Lina, on days when Ramona is not present. The cats respond well to the amount of affection you offer.
For stays longer than one week, guests are responsible for providing their own toiletries such as toilet paper and soap, as well as cooking gas once the initial supplies have been used. Bedding is washed every two weeks, but guests do not have access to the washing machine.

Great place, just a 30 second walk from the beach. Wasn’t an issue for me, but note the bathrooms are downstairs while bedrooms are upstairs. Two sweet cats!

A very nice house, with plenty of outdoor space, hammocks, and a table for eating and relaxing. I really liked the kitchen; it has everything you need to cook. The rooms on the second floor are very spacious, with good beds and king-size sheets, and they have nice balconies and hammocks. Excellent location close to restaurants and the market; a truck also passes by selling fruits and vegetables. I recommend it!

We had a great time at La Vaca Loca. The house is right at the end of the road in Guasacate making it a close walk to restaurants and bars. The surf break is an easy walk down the beach. Brant was very helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back, only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Cats were very cute and we loved having them around!

Beautiful location, very spacious, and very clean. The outdoor facilities (picnic table, shower, bathroom, hammock, etc.) were a pleasant surprise when we arrived. The photos are not representative of the premises. Everything is beautiful and well maintained. We had a lovely welcome from Ramona, who was all smiles. The house’s two female cats are also welcoming and friendly. Guasacate Beach is absolutely beautiful. Dutchy’s Deli… great food and service… wow. Same thing for Atarraya Seafood. There is a small, fairly well-stocked convenience store very close by. The host, Brant, is incredibly kind and proactive. We would definitely recommend this location. Thank you for our wonderful stay at your place, but it was far too short.

One of the most beautiful houses we have rented in Nicaragua. The house is huge, bigger than in the photos, with unique architecture. The hosts are very responsive. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time at Vaca Loca! It's much bigger and more beautiful than in the pictures. We loved the large outdoor space. The place is very quiet and a short walk from the beach. The only point to improve would be the cleanliness of the dishes and there were also a few ants in the kitchen. Despite this I would highly recommend it! Very nice!!

We absolutely loved this house! it's one of the most unique Airbnb's we've stayed in, and one of the best. it's in a great location, on the main road and about a 4 minute walk to the beach (not beachfront but close). the house is huge, with two big identical bedrooms each with their own balconies with hammock. the beds were super comfortable and the rooms had a great breeze. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a small store across the street that is really well stocked for the size. Lots of great restaurants within a short walk. We didn't have a car and didn't need one. I wouldn't recommend it for small children, but it was ideal for us with a teen. We are already planning on going back.

Brant & Khadine's house is really special but worth a visit! Very well located (there is a small market located next door, several dining options, the beach within walking distance — all accessible by a paved road!). The bedrooms are located upstairs, accessible by an external staircase. It is therefore necessary to constantly make sure to lock the doors. It's an indoor/outdoor house. The house is very clean, but since we are open to nature, it is not uncommon to come across ants or other small insects. It also doesn't have air conditioning but the fans and fresh sea air were enough for us. There is no hot water, which is common for nearby homes. The place is frequented by many young Westerners coming to surf.
